Booked over the phone and confirmed our stay at red roof plus off of I-35 because of the awesome pool (to keep my kids entertained while my husband did calls in the morning for work). Guy assured me it was the correct one. Nope, got booked at the W. Kellogg location. We got in around 10:00 pm; Sketchy neighborhood. Management wouldn't let me use my Costco membership to do the 15% off (I was able to do so at the Red Roof in Van Horn, TX 4 days prior), or the 10% off coupon that I got that morning for staying recently. Got into the room and was immediately met with a cockroach on the wall (smushed in the picture because I killed it with my flip flop before it could fly off), and several spiders. NO WORKING POOl. Then, we decided to leave early (8:00 am) to get out of there, and our back window was smashed in. Filed a police report, told the cameras couldn't be accessed except by a manager (not on site) but were told that the police don't do much since there's so much theft in the area. $500 back windshield and a four hour delay later we are back on the road. Very upset with how the hotel handled ALL the situations. After my 1st experience in Van Horn, I thought we found a good budget chain to use. I won't be staying at any red roof properties after this. If I could give a lower rating, I would.

Just a terrific, budget-friendly stay down the street from ICT!While most 'budget' stays just meet what you'd expect, the RED ROOF INN surpassed those .. .. Why pay 2x the price if you're staying near ICT?Lovely, big room with wood floors, REFRIGERATOR, MICROWAVE, IRON and nice big work desk .. .. BED is comfy! And, they still have a hot pot of coffee available in the lobby .. ..Loads of eating options just across the road but will probably need a car to get across the road .. ..When in ICT next, I will definitely be back! THANKS RED ROOF INN!!

Disappointing and DisappointedThe stay was Disappointing and We were Disappointed.Corina was a tremendous help with our reservations. We asked to see our room as we, usually, do to see what it is like. The Hotel/Motel had maintenance issues. There was a loose metal strip in the room's doorway and there was a concern by my wife of my falling. I noticed that there was no shower bar of any type to help me in and out of the tub. I do not see why all hotel and motels do not have railings in all the tubs as the cost is minimal compared to a fall suit. The front desk had one ADA room left and offered it at the same price and we were thankful for the change. That is the Good News. Now, the bad. The hallway was dirty when we arrived and it was not very inviting, but the housekeeping crew vacuumed it. The room that we, finally had, had a room air conditioner/ heating unit that could not be regulated. The digital temperature setting dial did not work so we could not regulate the temperature of the room from hot to cold. I had left a 6:00A.M. wake up call - which we did not receive - and when I asked the desk, the night desk clerk said he had not set it. We had told the front desk in the evening and was assured we would have a wake up call. The good news is I woke up, naturally, at 6:00A.M. When I woke up there were black things in the bed. The continental breakfast was not worth it as I had a bagel which was stale. After all of Corina's help, I expected better and did not get it. I stayed here as the price was reasonable and it was close to where I needed to go. My next appointment is later so that we can stay at our usual Hotel/Motel. We won't be staying here again. I give it Two Stars, solely, because of Corina and the Front Desk Check-in personnel.

This is a no hospitality establishment that should be shut down according to federal laws in mold and uninhabitable premises. During our stay we found feces in the hallway and we told the staff, a week later it was still there upon checking out. We had cigarette burns in our bedding along with pubic head and what looked to be blood stains. The staff here either doesn't speak English or they don't care. We saw mold under the air unit in our room and no one offered a solution. There was no water pressure in our shower and we will never consider this place again.

I would of put Zero stars but i had to select 1 star to post this review! NEVER in your life stay at this nasty hotel. I stayed in room 112 it was black mold in the bathroom ceiling. It was so disgusting. Do NOT BELIEVE any amenities they have on their website. Everything was abandoned and closed. The 1st red flag we noticed. What was more disturbing and disgusting is our checkout! This hotel has a list of rules mainly about not smoking or tampering with the smoke detector or staining the linen. NO RULES ABOOUT YOUR TRASH! This skinny long frog with glasses front desk says our room smells like Febreze of course it does my husband is a truck driver his clothes stink! Then he claims while weighing 84 pounds he was a truck driver before THATS A LIE! So now I'm like give me my deposit! He refuses to give me the deposit. Now i am upset i ask this frog to come back to the room and prove what you are saying is true because WE NEVER SMOKED IN THE ROOM. He says our trash has tobacco in it. So he says he has 3 people confirming we smoked in the room. The room was clean and smokeless it was no reason to take our money these Indians are scammers. They are taking advantage of travelers!!! DO NOT STAY HERE. I also contact ICE and the Police department of Wichita to file a police report theft by taking. BEWARE!!! Will never recommend this place!!

Place is a disaster! No maintenance they send a front desk employee to fix things and drive u to airport if u can find any employee at front desk even your lucky ! They might as well close because it's obvious no one cares! I stood at front desk for 30 min during day and saw no one to help me.

Lol so my first review got deleted but DO NOT STAY HERE The house keeping waited for us to leave multiple times and came into our rooms before hours and during hours of service. And the manager was Extremely rude and acted like nothing happen and no one went into my room. when there was obvious proof someone did! And they thought 15% off my future stay would make this better and they have no clue who was in my room . Literally stated that in the email. The thing is I don't want to stay there ever again . It traumatized me for two days because someone tried coming into my room for some reason and no one can tell me who or even care too. All I want is a peace of mind by knowing who did it and why .

This was a nightmare. I reserved 3 months prior. A couple weeks before arrival my credit/debit card was comprimised and I called and asked for the TOTAL amount I needed to bring to pay cash for my reservation.. room taxes fees etc. Total amount. My bank does not have a branch in wichita. Got to the hotel and they tell me I am going to need another 100 dollars for a deposit. I shared my booking info and the details of the previous call to the hotel and the front desk person didn't care and got the even worse manager that wouldn't honor my reservation after his employee told me the wrong information. Then he said I was screaming at him. I am hard of hearing and I informed him of that my husband also said she isn't yelling that is her normal voice. I wasn't at all loud. Then he was belittling to me by making comments about speaking louder so I could hear since I am supposedly hard of hearing. In the end, they did not take care of us and honor the total his person told me on the phone. I worked in the hotel and casino industry in Las Vegas for years, and I have never been treated as horrible as I was by these people. I spent hours trying to find a place that had a room in my budget and gave up and ended up in a place most people would never even consider. The staff was horrible... rude... and disrespectful..
