Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews

The last few times we have been there, the service wasn't good. Some waitresses and waiters would disappear and would talk to friends that would come in, instead of checking on customers.Their fries most times would come out not even lukewarm and we were given maybe 12 fries to split between us. The burgers weren't cooked as ordered. If the burgers were ordered medium rare, they came out well done. As I have said, the waitresses and waiters would disappear and not really check on how it was cooked. To us, the food is overpriced for what is served.

Second time this happened, wait in the lobby and no host / hostess would show up, left after 10 minutes

We had a group of 13 people.. family in town for a funeral.. server was great. Brought everyone fries and dipping sauce with our drink order which was great. Good food and hot. Only negatives from the group was the loaded fries that were suppose to come with burnt ends had some form of beef but not burnt ends. Ran out of coffee 2 days ago and hadn't fixed it. Elderly people in our group really wanted that. And bottom line would have been a 5 star had the African American employee by the bar wouldn't have been an asshole to me. We came in the side door and already spoke with am employee and they were already setting the large group table together and he decided to be an ass and try and make us all go to the front door to get a table. Why? Why be an asshole? We even called ahead and they knew we were coming and Mr power trip had to be a dick. Uncalled for. We were in town to remember a loved ones passing and didn't need his shit.

We arrived at 2:30 pm- restaurant was not busy. No one was at check-in stand and we had to wait until the greeter was summoned by another employee. Despite a near-empty restaurant, we were seated in a booth right next to 7 or 8 12-year old girls celebrating a birthday (I am not complaining about their excitement, just about the fact that we could have been seated much further away). Our server came over right away, but when we told her we needed a minute to look at the restaurant, she came back 8 minutes later. We saw her 4 times total, and she seemed flustered every time- like she was in a rush. It's not as if they were short-staffed as we saw several other servers on the floor, and our server had four tables. Food was good, but had trouble using our gift card (server had to take my phone to the register). Overall we were disappointed in the overall service.

Consistently delicious food! Good prices and love that you can join the waitlist early on Yelp it really helps speed things along. Definitely sign up for rewards to get the free burger on your birthday!

The server shouldn't be a server or maybe needs some better training! She was rude, defensive, forgetful, unorganized, unprofessional and should be at a desk job! The worst experience and I was hoping for a fun afternoon! Shame on you Red Robin for letting this happen!

Overall a decent experience. The food was good. The greeter on the evening of our visit had to be found to add our name to the waitlist, too busy laughing and talking to other staff and not enough attention to the job at hand. Our server was absolutely delightful. The ambiance was decent as usual a little loud in the dining room, of course not the fault of the restaurant. It was a busy night for them.

Third time coming to the west side location and the waitress took 20 mins to get our drink order. Once she took our order the food came out pretty quick but we saw her a total of two times. Someone else brought our food. We sat with no drinks and sauce for fries so we paid on the little table screen thing and left.

Waited over 10minutes to see a waiter. The waiter said the afternoon shift people had not showed up. I think they are short staffed. The Brussel sprouts were undercooked. They did not have any flavor. They need a sauce with them. The burgers were delicious. The sweet potato fries and salad were good. The waiter that helped us was very apologetic. They need more staff. The restaurant was clean. I would go back. Need less wait time.

The food was way overpriced for a hamburger had onion rings substituted for fries which they charged me four dollars extra for which was only five onion rings the food was not that good to pay $18 for a hamburger and onion rings it's just fast food on a plate. You can definitely get a better hamburger for a better price somewhere else. I won't be returning to red Robin.
