Range 54

Took the Introduction to Pistols with Brooke & Christina. Our class was mixed with first time shooters and people who have shot before, but wanted more knowledge. It's about 2 hours of classroom time and the other 2 hours are in the range.I personally have shot guns before, but it does give me anxiety and stresses me out - hence I wanted to get more familiar so this doesn't happen. Brooke was so patient and calming, continued to make sure I knew that I didn't have to if I didn't want to - but I did. So she took the time, to make sure I felt as comfortable as I could. Gave me pointers on how to become a better shot. The class is late, so bring a snack and some coffee possibly. They hold a range (no pun intended) of classes. I do plan on coming in at least once a month to continue to work with their staff to become more comfortable. You can rent a lane & try out different guns to see what you like best. Which is super nice because guns aren't cheap! They are all so welcoming and encouraging when asking for guidance. The staff takes the time to make sure your needs are met.

The staff here are excellent and sooo helpful! The range and shop are really nice. However, I was shocked at how loud it was in there. The metal stalls seem to only make things even loader and I was a little put off by having rifles and handguns in the same range area. I went to Range 54 because they had the gun I wanted to rent and try. So it was nice to try it before I bought it. I frequent another range here in town that is much quieter and has a separate range for rifles.

I went to Range 54 for the first time a week ago to practice shooting with family. We completed our paperwork and were assigned a lane quite quickly. There are 3 bays with 8 lanes each. The bays are clean and swept frequently of shell casings. The range staff is polite and insured people are using eye and ear protection. The shop has a large selection of weapons and products along with knowledgeable staff to answer all your questions. I went again this past weekend for the Women's Basic Pistol class. This 8 hour class was very informative! We spent the first half of the class learning how to safely handle a handgun, about storage options, how to identify and clear malfunctions, and more. The second half was spent on the range practicing using the sights properly, using the trigger reset and learning to clean a gun properly. I left this class feeling more comfortable handling and using a handgun. The instructors were knowledgeable, friendly and patient and insured all students felt comfortable throughout. I would definitely recommend visiting Range 54!

The staff was very informative and helpful and didn't try and act intimidating and make you feel uncomfortable like some of these "Bullet Stops"! I am glad I went to Range 54 to purchase my fire arm. Highly recommended!

The staff was very friendly. They answered any and all questions I had (I ask a lot of questions). I ordered a gun because they didn't have it in stock. That's the only reason I didn't give the last star. Other than that everything was great!! Would definitely recommend coming here and letting some rounds go!!

This range is excellent. I've been to a lot of gun ranges, but this by far is my favorite. Whenever I come into town I make sure to make a special trip here. The range is awesome and so are the staff! The only thing I would change is that high powered rifles, shotguns, and full automatics are on a separate range than the handguns. It makes it very hard to shoot a handgun when you get an AR-15 firing right next to you. The facility is all new and a lot cheaper another gun ranges. They also have a great selection of apparel and Rental guns.

Range 54 is an awesome, state of the art shooting range. They have a fantastic facility and wonderful people running it. The target retrieval system has pre-set programs that make training interesting. The membership is a bargain, if you shoot more than once a month. I am often times at the range more than once a week. In addition to the range, which they have a huge selection of rental guns for, they have a very nice retail area with tons of guns for sale.

Service was disrespectful and condescending. Selection/options not good imo. Nice size and clean appearance for most part but limited. Value ok but higher than most other places around. They let some people do things and dont let others. Regular customers vs strangers idk? When you want something either ignored or not around. When around, trying tonpoint out anything they can that violates something or trying to show you how to do something unsolicited. So my main issue is the service and employees. Been there dozen times only had one no issues trip. Definitely will not be returning. ​​​​​

The service I've received at Range 54 is outstanding. I took the introduction to pistols coarse with the instructor Stuart Bruce and I felt that the class was very informative and comfortable for a beginner. I then took the Conceal and Carry with Ken Grommet and Stuart Bruce a few weeks later. This class was very well taught and professional but with a relaxed atmosphere. I would recommend Range 54 for anyone, new or old, beginner and or professional looking to spend time at a professional indoor gun range. Please keep up the good work!

Attended the pistol 101 class. Excellent class to attend especially for those with little to no experience with pistols. Good job Stuart providing guidance and experience in class and in the firing bay. I believe the other instructor was Geno. Appreciate all the great advice from both. Only thing I would consider adding to the class is maybe ten minutes on which cleaning solvents and brushes to use when cleaning your pistol. We'll done Range54.
