Great local favorite. Ok, there aren't many sit-down dinner choices in the neighborhood, but this truly is a standout.Ambiance is dated, but clean and presentable. Service was great, if not outstanding. Food was above average for a place with such a small repeat opportunity.Recommended to us, and by us.

The BEST Mexican American food in all KANSAS.. i love it.. Every time i go i finish at least 2 bottles of the SALSA with CHIPS.. they have a SECRET recipe .. you got to try it.. i also love the Gorditas and French Fries.. and The Crispy Chicken Tacos.. They have lots too choose from their menu and Daily Specials.. Great Service fast and friendly and Super Clean.. can't complain. The rest of the Mexican Restaurants just plain Suck! sorry :( i go there every time a go visit the parents.. wow.. sad to say but that's the only reason i miss Lakin, KS LOL

We walked in for a late lunch and were told to sit anywhere. The place wasn't busy, but we have seen this restaurants parking area pretty full before, which is why we wanted to try it. Our waitress quickly brought us menus, chips and salsa, told us their specials, and took our drink orders. My husband got the Mexican steak and I went with their special, which was 2 enchiladas and a taco. We had also ordered cheese sauce for our chips. Everything came out very quickly and hot. The salsa was a bit spicy, great on flavor though and the cheese wasn't spicy so they paired together well. The refried beans which came on both our plates was good, nothing special about it. The Mexican steak was a little chewy, but good, and the rice on the side was moist and flavorful. The enchiladas and taco had a good amount of ground beef in them and had a decent amount of cheese on them. All in all the food was good, the service fantastic, and we will probably return

Salsa and Guacamole are the best.. I really love their menu. Great mix of items offered. Specials everyday.

Good Mexican food, great re-fried beans. Fast and friendly. Lunch crowd is large but not over crowded.

The food was alright when I told the waiter if there was a rest room he knocked me the fuck out so besides that the food was aight

Best salsa around. Waitresses are very friendly. A little pricey for small town Lakin America, but not over the top.
