We have been using Westphal's as our family jeweler for as long as I can remember. Dick and his team always make you feel welcome and important to them. They work hard to make each piece feel like they created it just for you. My husband and I had looked at ring styles locally in St. Louis before getting engaged. I was so impressed that instead of buying from a big box jewelry store in St. Louis he went back to my hometown to use the same jeweler that did my parents rings. Dick found him several options and he chose the perfect ring. Every time I come home he makes sure it's still as perfect and sparkly as the day I got engaged. I feel great supporting their family as they have taken care of mine all these years. Customer for life!

On occasion I have patronized Westphal. They have always treated us with dignity and respect. For example, sometimes when I go to town, I've been working around the house on a project of some kind and I might show up in their store looking like a vagrant! The first thing I do is stop and look at the beautiful men's watches in the first case to the right in the door. The next thing I do when I go to Westphals is go to the coffee table in the center of the room and stuff one handful of fresh baked cookies in my mouth and another handful in my pocket, possibly further raising suspicions of being a vagrant! But the nice people that work there have never treated me or my family as if we don't belong, or that we are wasting their time when we go there. I have tried to patronize other jewelry stores in the past where I was judged by my appearance or by the questions I have asked, and that gets my goat as fast as anything out there! I purchased a rather expensive Citizen watch at Westphal a year or so back because I rode my motorcycle to town and was wearing coveralls and a t-shirt and work boots and could not get waited on at one of his competitors. Since then I don't even shop around I just take care of all my jewelry needs at Westphal, and I'd encourage everyone else to do the same! You'll be glad you did!
