Puerto Vallarta Mexican Restaurant

This place was awesome! Not exactly the height of decor,but the food is delicious. The service was outstanding. The prices are fantastic. The pork carnitas were fall off your fork tender. The chicken chimichanga was huge with red and green sauce and guacamole and onions cooked inside. The lime coconut and blue margaritas were killer and half price on Wednesday. Our waitress was terrific. I would eat here every week if I lived here.

Our party of 7 included 5 who had never tried this restaurant so when they asked us what is good on the menu, we replied, "everything!" And once again, none were disappointed. Wonderful service, efficient and accurate. The guacamole is my favorite, the bean dip and salsa are yummy. And themargaritas were addictive. I had the quesadilla this time because I wanted to go simple - no complaints, but my friend who let me taste the Chile Verde, one word: WOW! So good.

Great spot! No wait, great service. Food was hot & delicious. And I love that they give chips, salsa AND bean dip as soon as we sat down. Kept the kids occupied right out of the gate.

Should have just left after we walked in and saw how dirty it was. It's a sit yourself place, we chose the least filthy table available. Took a bit to get our drinks ordered, they brought over their chips and salsa. The chips were old and greasy, the salsa was terrible. We paid for our drinks and left. I'm not sure how they are getting 5 stars. This is far from a 5 star restaurant. I'd pass

Very good restaurant!! Loved the atmosphere and the greeter and waitress were very nice. Ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp and they were absolutely delicious!!We also ordered the 4 different tacos and enjoyed the chicken ones the most.I'll definitely go back for the bacon wrapped appetizer and next time I'll choose it for my meal!! :)

If you are going to Mexico Viejo, stop!!!!!!! This is your new place! Better service, higher quality food, better drinks, better prices. I felt like my abuela was serving me. Our cheese dip was the best we've had in Wichita. The drinks were flowing. It's a YES for me! Never going back to any other Mexican restaurants in town!

If you like fish tacos, get them here -- they are FANTASTIC!!!! The portions are large and will fill you up!

The food is delicious, the service was great as they were very crowded for lunch one day. We also tried the mini margs waht a good decision.
