My boyfriend resided at one of PMP's properties. The house was infested in mold because they ignored them when they said the basement flooded and needed cleaned. The sump pump didn't work and there was bad rain last spring. The backyard would also flood extreme amounts (they said they'd fix but didn't), so it was was just overall awful. They came out once. However, they didn't clean it up until months later. It doesn't take a genius to know that made it moldy and absolutely nasty to be down there. But they still didn't fix it after their MANY requests. We couldn't even be in their basement for a couple of months. Then was it completely fixed? No, the back room was still molding when they left the house. AFTER tearing down the wall. Because of an ongoing issue of their backyard flooding that they said they'd fix by patching dirt and never did. They billed the tenants for not only the carpet smelling bad (because there was water sitting there for months that led to mold), 55 hours of work that probably could've taken a normal person half that time. Then they charged them $45/hour for the work. But why are they paying their workers to do work they should have done WHILE they were residing there. Yes, it was in the fine print. But what they didn't say is that their workers sit in the drive until the hour is up. They did it every time they did a project at their house. Looking at the other reviews of people that have moved out, this 'business' just looks for ways to take money from you. Don't let them fool you by saying they're a family owned business. Also-- 55 hours x $45/hour is $2475. So they paid a worker to paint, replace the carpet (because THEY weren't on top of things), and to do minor fixes that the property management should have paid for in the first place. $4100 total without including the down deposit. A word of advice-- if they do this to you & they send it to collections. Have the collections agency make a settlement with you. My boyfriend is paying significantly less because of it.
