Promise Thai Cuisine

Hands down the cleanest restaurant I've been into in Wichita. Also probably the nicest service as well. We drove past this restaurant a lot. My husband was craving Thai food and we always eat at the same Thai place. So we decided to try something new.I forgot to take photos of our food when it came out because we were starving haha. But the empty plates should be proof enough how good it was. I ordered Basil Leaves Beef. It was the best basil beef I've had in Wichita. My husband got a curry and it was really good as well. I thought it was reasonably priced. A lot of reviews mention price for portion. But it was a good portion. And really good and fresh. It seems like a family business. The food is so good. I'm really excited to come back and try something else. (I'll remember to add photos next time haha)10/10 food10/10 service10/10 cleanliness

Nice old man sits you and takes order, forgot out water so had to goto vehicle and brings our in they only do bottled water . Phad Thai chicken was tangy but good had the spare rib dinner thought it was short rib dinner by mistake but it was good three ribs though . He said she has made bread if we wanted it instead of rice that was unique service was fast and bless the old man's heart for working at that age No outside seating

Had the Chicken Pad Thai and plain Fried Rice and Thai soft Spring Rolls. All was really good and very flavorful the only thing I wish was a little bigger portions especially for the Pad Thai because I usually will have leftovers but not at the place but it tastes better than almost all the other Thai places I've been to for this state.

The staff here is so nice, and definitely comes across as a family restaurant.The food is cooked on the spot (you can kind of see in the back), and it was exactly what I expected and hoped for! I got the Sweet and Spicy chicken, and there was definitely enough for a full meal. I don't think I even ate it all (but not enough for left overs).If you walk in to order, it probably takes about 10minutes or so to order. Quiet place, and it's good food. I'd recommend it!

Great food and great service. I believe the owner was our waiter, and his wife was in the kitchen, from what he told us. He was very kind and helpful, and we had a spectacular dinner. All dishes can be prepared to whatever spiciness you like. I had the pineapple fried rice, which was delicious and included seafood, so it made a complete dinner. My wife had Pad Thai with medium heat, and thoroughly enjoyed it, and our young companion ordered his dish with full spice, which he devoured with gusto.

I've been eating at Promise Thai since they opened over 19 yrs ago.Boa and Sue are so nice and friendly and keep a clean, comfortable restaurant.I traveled quite alot for work and always had a craving for Pad-Thai, so would end up trying it everywhere I went.Hands down, Sue's Pad Thai is the best I've ever had.My favorite is the lunch menu Pad Thai that comes with a cup of soup, salad and rice. It's just the right amount to satisfy my hunger but not leave me feeling like I ate too much.Everything else I've ever tried on their menu has also been Excellent!The Sweet Rice with Mango is soo good!I no longer live in the area, but when I come back to the area to visit, I do my best to eat there.More often than not, I end up with some of my family members joining me, as they all enjoy eating there as well!

Absolutely LOVE this place and the owners! They have food at all spice levels from not spicy to very spicy. Go check them out!

Food is consistently delicious, served on beautiful dinnerware. We especially appreciate that no MSG is added to ingredients. The owners are charming & their friendliness adds to The Promise charm. We eat there whenever we are in Wichita. This restaurant is a yet undiscovered gem in the city. (Be sure to try the ribs)

Been going there for years; Fabulous Thai food. Sue and Boa are the owners - a delightful couple. Sue, the chef; Boa, the server. Be sure to try the Chicken Mussaman, #3 spice; YUM! Wine? Take your own. Love this place; great Thai cuisine!

I has been eyeing this restaurant for some time and finally had a chance to try it out. Came here for a late lunch and it was worth it! Food is made to order and was so enjoyable. I ordered pad Thai level 1 and it was delicious, just the right amount of heat. My kids loved their dishes too. The spring rolls and the crab Rangoon was made just right. The Thai tea was refreshing and not heavy or thick. Will definitely come here again.
