I came in as a walk-in to dental with an infection, and was treated by Dr. Rohr. He explained everything well, and the dental assistants have all been friendly and personable. I've gone back to have my wisdom teeth removed by him, and I think he and his assistants have done a great job. Each time they've gone over everything thoroughly and make sure I don't leave without any unanswered questions.

PrairieStar Health Clinic is the best clinic in Hutchinson. As a college student it's a one stop medical center. They have Medical and Dental services in the same building. Plus, the prices are great since it's a Federally Qualified Health Center. I highly recommend it to anyone in the Hutchinson Area.-K

If you go here keep every receipt for multiple years. Im fairly certain I double payed multiple bills over the years but as of July 1st 2021 I was sent to collections for a bill I have never seen dated back from November 2019. This was for something covered 100% by insurance and even if it wasn't, for 2 years I was never sent a bill. Now I'm fighting with the debt collectors because insurance does not do claims over a year old. Now I'm stuck with a $200 plus bill that would have been taken care of the minute I got the bill 2 years ago. Business office is a huge joke. Doctors were kind but only cared about getting you out the door and onto the next patient.

Dental office staff is rude. Expensive for sliding scale fee. Because I was in the hospital and missed an appointment I am now on a walk in basis, even though I cancelled. I have proof I cancelled. They sent out a paper about payments and making prior arrangements. When we tried to do so we were told we do not take payments, need to pay in advance. Whey send out the paper? They need a new office manager.

These guys are the WORST! Yeah, they have discounted pricing but the old adage "You get what you pay for" could NEVER be truer! My mom went to get several teeth assessed that were missing crowns and they pulled all 3 of them. Several weeks later was still in a lot of pain. After X-raying to determine the issue, turns out they missed part of the root of one tooth and she had a massive infection from that. Had to pay $5,000 in surgery somewhere else just to get that rectified. STAY AWAY!!

Went to the Dentist office there they took some x-rays and said I needed two fillings done. They are income based and the level I was at they wanted almost $400 for the two without insurance decided to call around and my dentist that I went to 15 years ago only wanted less than $300 and when I went to him he said he didn't see what they are talking about took his own x-rays and said I didn't need any fillings just a cleaning. Told me my teeth looked better than some that come in every six months and I hadn't been to a dentist in 15 years. He saved me work that didn't need to be done and money. I won't be returning to Prairie Star Dentist office.
