I have gone to prarie view forever and absolutely loved Dr. Tiffany Huxman. As I entered adulthood I no longer needed prairie view's services and I was slapped with a bill of $150 for some reason. I have also had to constantly call to update an address because they won't stop sending bills to an address I do not live at, yet it never gets updated. The last bill I "owed" was sent to an address I don't live at anymore and it took 2 years for it to be sent to collections. When I called Prairie View to try to understand what was happening, the woman on the phone, Anita, was unbelievably rude and hostile towards me, and before the end of the phone call, had the nerve to tell me I needed to work on my "attitude problem". If it wasn't for 10 years worth of Dr. Huxman's of absolute greatness, I would have given this place the lowest rating possible.

This is a religious based psychological hospital which was founded by the Mennonite Church, they do a really good job on what and where they have to work with. The other psy Hospitals in the area are in 1). Salina Regional and 2). Hutchinson, KS, the one in Salina is equipted to handle severe cases in my opinion. You need to check your Insurance plan before coming here they do not take some types of insurance for most people that have severe mental issues that are past the age of 18 in my opinion.

I got landed with an almost $1500 bill...and all I did was sit on my rear for four days. There was no therapy or anything of use. The staff were ignorant, rude, and callous. And they claim to be faith-based. They aren't.
