Phenomenal food and service! I had the Cheeseburger with jalapeños and it might be the best burger I ever had. Also the fries are homemade and delicious!! The two servers did an incredible job serving everyone, as the restaurant was full during the lunch hour. Fabulous!

Likely closer to 4 stars than 3- depends on what your looking for. Iconic downtown vintage building full of locals where everyone knows everybody. The lunch special is on the white board, today beef tips mashed & veggies. Your choice applesauce, salad or cottage cheese. The Dorothy Lynch dressing actually in a giant squeeze bottle. The beef tips were actually moist beef roast under brown gravy. Tasty. If you want off the beaten path you've found it.

This is certainly a country gem! I had the single patty cheese burger. Nothing special per say about a cheese burger but this was a hand pressed burger NOT frozen! This restaurant is a hard place to find these days and shouldn't be taken for granite. I feel privileged to have the opportunity to sit at a truly lost in time REAL small town family restaurant. If you happen to be close by for breakfast or lunch you will not be disappointed!!! I will be dining for breakfast tomorrow morning and look forward to another wonderful experience!

A group of six of us rode motorcycles up to Peabody this morning for breakfast at Pops. We were not disappointed. Food was very good. Service was good ( even though they seemed a bit short staffed).I had "the garbage" which I thought was quite good.We will return.RT from Derby

This is an awesome little diner in the heart of Downtown Peabody. My husband had The Garbage, with gravy, and it was a generous portion and quite delicious. I opted for the biscuits and gravy with a side of sausage. The gravy was tasty and a nice consistency. The sausage was lean and the Patty was obviously handmade. I had the small, which was fine for me. They are only open until 2 but you can have breakfast after Noon, which is hard to find nowadays. The prices are affordable and the waitresses kind and efficient. We will be back.

A group of ten of us rode our motorcycles to Peabody to eat at Pops Diner. The food was really good! I will definitely be back! They had a chalkboard with the daily specials for the whole month. If you are in the area, I highly recommend this diner! The diner is on their Main Street downtown, and it is advertised as being an 1880's Main Street. It's a really neat little town, and they have several antique stores to check out as well. I spent several hours after eating, going through one of the antique stores, and then just riding through the town looking at the really neat houses! I know this is supposed to be a review for the restaurant, but the restaurant is a big part of the town.

My family and I met some of my momma's cousin's here. They live here in Peabody and in a few surrounding towns. It was a good time, food was good also. I definitely recommend the fish sandwich and the cherry pie. Service not fast, but adequate. No worries, slow down y'all. Slice of small town life, this place is open until 2pm everyday. One cousin's significant other said they are open for dinner on one day a month, not sure when that is though.

It's definitely a hidden gem. Pop's is a classic diner with a full menu of breakfast and lunch selections. I had a double cheeseburger that was colossal in size and flavor! My friend had an open faced roast beef sandwich that covered the plate. Also a thumbs up. Excellent service from an excellent waitress, with just the right amount of attention. We will certainly be back!

I work down in Peabody 2 days a week and always try to stop and eat at Pop's. The food is always great and the folks working there are always friendly. The home cut fries are just the best. Stop in and have a burger or try the special you won't be disappointed!
