Pinnacle Lofts & Apartments

Left me and my girlfriend hanging for a tour. We had scheduled our appointment online with them and when we showed up no one was in the leasing office. Called the office and was told that someone would "call us back" after we already arrived for our appointment.We both waited around for 15 minutes and someone did show up to the leasing office - but only to hang up a sign reading "no appointments today, please call if you'd like to schedule a viewing." I've never been ghosted by an apartment complex before and it's shocking the lack of professionalism expressed here today. We will not be applying at Pinnacle.

This apartment complex may look nice and modern and while it is, there a many issues this complex faces. First, dog poop bags are provided but most residents don't pick up their dog poop. So when I walk my dog she has to walk all over other dogs poop in order to find a place to use the restroom. Second, there are cracks in the cement flooring and basically it is a catch all for anything that will fit. I use a rainbow vacuum that filters everything through water and those cracks were filled more then halfway with disgusting stuff from the previous tennents. I had to change the water in it around six times when cleaning my apartment for when I moved in. Also, don't expect the housekeeping to clean your floors with a mop, they will sweep with a broom and that is about it. The cement floors are really slick, I mean get ready to slip and fall almost daily because of the way they are treated. We had to resort to getting house slippers for all members of the family to help with the slipping and falling. Third, they don't put salt or such down when it is icy out. They have not put down salt all week and it has been sleeting all week. They also neverput anything down on the driving ground in the complex, so expect that to be super slick as well.You can hear regular conversations through the walls and if you live downstairs get ready to hear your upstairs neighbors step. The washer is very very tiny and will hold an adult pant, shirt and 2 toddler pants and 2 toddler shirts and even then will struggle to clean your clothes. We had clothes come out of the wash still dirty after every wash and resorted to washing everything twice. I even ran multiple clean cycles on the washer and nothing changed. Justin in the front office is never there during the office hours of 8-5. The trash cans fill up quickly, and they move them by hand to the front big dumpster a few times a week.

These apartments have a decent location but lack amenities for the price. Further, and more telling, the customer service is sub par. Noise complaints are ignored (and there is considerable noise) and on site management is often not actually on site. Lastly, their billing practices are questionable.

New owners are a smaller sized property management company and have really started to make improvements to the property. Very fair pricing for the area and included amenities. Not an ideal complex to raise a family in necessarily however it is the perfect complex if you're a young professional who wants to live in the downtown area.

I've lived here for roughly a year now. The neighbors are all generally friendly and I like that the complex is gated, well lit and recorded. The property Manager Anaise is always friendly and accommodating when I have a need or repair request and she has gone out of her way on several occasions to make living here comfortable. You'd be hard pressed to find a better apartment or loft in the Riverside area...which in itself is an ideal part of the city to live in!

I was not going to write a review about this place but since they charged me for a months rent after I moved out (this is after I called them to make sure it would not happen) I feel I need to let others know.Here are all the terrible things that happened at Pinnacle this summer:1. My roommate was charged double rent every month without fail even after he tried to work it out with them.2. When he tried to get his money back each month they made him come into their off site management facility where they were not very friendly or helpful. I know because I went one time.3. Before I arrived my roommate noticed two men had hopped over the fence and were peering into his bedroom. When he called the cops nobody came. 4. There was a man who walked into my neighbors apartment late one night while he stepped out to walk his dog. This man was thought to be on drugs and looking for a drug dealer who used to live in the complex. The police came and took him away but did not charge him with anything and he was seen several other times.5. The same man started a fire outside of the apartments and was just hanging out with a fire one night.6. The car gate was constantly broken so parking was always not available.7. Another neighbor of mine noticed a broken towel rack in their apartment and called in for it to be fixed. It was never fixed and they were accusatory of him even though it was broken when he arrived.8. They are still charging me and my roommate rent and we cleaned the place and moved out a month ago. Also we called to make sure it wouldn't happen.Bottom line- There are a lot of nice people who live here but the management is currently a mess. Pointguard management is unable to successfully run this complex. This place is not worth the trouble.
