Pho Viet

Been here several time since they have opened. The service is always great and the food is always delicious and filling. All the times I have been it hasn't been very loud even when they are packed. I would definitely recommend this place!

I have waited 10 years for a Vietnamese restaurant to open here in Manhappiness! This beautiful restaurant is located on Poyntz in the heart of downtown. I was out of town for the grand opening last week, and it took Eric R. two tries on different days to get in for his first taste of local pho. He was very happy with his meal, and bragged with photos to me. I was not planning to go yet as I figured it was so busy, but I had an appointment nearby today and decided because I am a loving spouse to get lunch to go for Eric R. and I. I ordered to go at the bar, and since we are in a heat advisory, I decided not to get pho (which also can be tough to transport). I ordered for myself lemongrass chicken with rice and fried egg. It also came with a salad. For Eric R. I ordered the grilled shrimp and eggroll vermicelli bowl. I also got shrimp soft spring rolls for us to share.The place was absolutely hopping at lunch time. As I waited, I took in the ambiance - beautifully hand-painted walls with scenes of Vietnam and its food - plus lanterns hanging from the ceiling which look like hats in Vietnam and at least three TVs showing the Olympics. The staff were very kind. The person who took my order also had to serve as cashier for anyone eating in the restaurant and manage all to go orders. She kindly offered me a glass of ice water as I waited. There was a line out of the door when I was leaving with my food!Everything was well-packaged, and when I brought it home, the entrees were still warm. I really enjoyed my dish which came with sides of fish sauce and spicy chile sauce. I look forward to dining in and trying the pho soon. There are also fun drinks that were sold out due to popularity, so I hope to stop by for an avocado smoothie too!

Very good Pho. My family goes regularly The portions and service are right. I like a brighter ambiance so the lighting works for me. If you've never had Pho; it's a rich broth with noodles, meat, and some vegetables. Very much worth trying.

For being a Vietnamese pho restaurant in Kansas, it's pretty good! The service otherwise isn't so great.

I loved this place and I would 5,000% go back. This was my first time having pho and omg DELISH. There are beautiful murals on the walls, the staff was SO nice and made us laugh. It was busy in there but we were serviced very well! Go here! You won't regret it!

This grilled pork vermicelli was the best I've ever had. The pork was done perfectly, melted in your mouth. Excellent balance of noodles, veggies, meat and sauce. Nice, clean restaurant with prompt service.

The food was good. Service was slow at first. Once the remembered we were seated then it was fine. It's a nice location. I would definitely eat there again.

Good service and delicious soup! Sooo refreshing! Been here many times! Ambience is relaxing. Not too crowded.

Yum.... this is my third year in MHK and I always wondered where the Vietnamese/Indian/Afghan etc were hiding...apparently other than one Indian restaurant they're pretty non existent.Enter Pho Viet - it was really tasty and by other Vietnamese restaurant pricing right in lineHad the Bun Cha Gio w grilled pork and egg roll....the pork was scream out loud tasty - whole dish was delicious- especially on a 100 degree evening. Will definitely be a go toI had read about delays etc and went expecting to have to wait - seems that the kinks are worked put and I had my food promptly

Amazing location and food!Looking for a nice tasty soup definitely come here for a meal!
