Pho Ong 8

I landed at the airport and asked Siri for a good Vietnamese spot. He led me here and I'm so glad he did! The moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly and seated promptly. The cozy, inviting ambiance was the perfect setting for a delicious meal. I couldn't resist ordering the pho, and it was absolutely a winner. The broth was flavorful, the noodles were cooked to perfection, and the toppings were fresh. To top it off, I indulged in a delightful Thai boba tea with whipped cream. This casual spot is a gem. I highly recommend it for anyone craving Vietnamese cuisine in Wichita.

Can't go back to Wichita without hitting up a pho restaurant! This is our first time here! Pho was good and service was fast. Did not disappoint! Definitely will go back!

Pho Ong 8 is mine & Hub's go-to spot when we crave Pho. If I'm not craving Pho on a particular day but since want the comfort of noodle soup, I'll switch it up and order the Mi Hoang Thanh or Duck Noodle Soup. When I don't want soup at all, I get the Bun Thit Nuong (vermicelli noodles & grilled pork) or Com Suon (rice & pork chop). This place gets pretty busy but usually the service is pretty quick.

We came here to dine from visiting out of town, and wanted some simple Asian food. The moment we were going to order, the waiter told us right away any type of stir fry food is not available... which is like more than half of the menu so we were limited on options.I got the pork rice plate, and was pretty disappointed as it was not flavorful at all, the pork was so overcooked and dry. Not entirely sure if we would come back.

I came for pho but wanted fish sauce wings as well but the staff said they currently didn't have stir fried food options (the table next to us was eating wings..) So disappointing to hear that. The pho broth was a little sweet for my liking but still good. My friend got the fried porkchops rice plate with a fried egg which was super dry and bland. The steamed egg that came with the rice plate was super mushy and not good. Other friend got duck noodle soup and said it was decent and nothing to rave about. Prices were high for what it is. I paid $18 for my one bowl of pho including tax and 18% tip (tip was included for parties of 6+) Atmosphere was ok. Quiet little place but lots of natural lighting. Overall, I would not come back.

Today was my second visit. I really like the pho here, the broth is very fragrant. Everything is obviously fresh and well made.I've ordered the vegetable pho both times and I love the amount of fresh vegetables that arrive in the bowl. I also love that they bring out quite a bit of basil, lime, and other trimmings for the soup.Crab Rangoon was also very good, and obviously fresh. Service is very quick once you order but after you receive your food they don't really check on you much. This isn't a bad thing to me, just know you'll need to get someone's attention if you need something. This is easy to do as the servers seem always nearby.I think they have the same tables and booths as the restaurant before them, which are showing their age, but the floor and other surfaces have been redone and look very clean and refreshed.Definitely recommend visiting. I didn't try it but my friend had the duck soup and raved about it.

Second best pho place in town.You can tell because it's always busy during lunch, lol.Service is good. Ladies are nice. Food is top tier. 100% recommend if you're looking for another good pho place.

My husband and I favorite place to get pho. Delicious food and reasonable price. Friendly staff and the place is clean.

Service was quick and food was good. I had the special pho along with egg rolls and wings as appetizers. The pho was packed with meat! I plan to come back and try more entrees.

Definitely my favorite spot for my fix of pho or wonton noodles soup. Every time we eat there, their soup is ALWAYS on point! With that being said, their fried rice, vermicelli noodles combo, and most other items that we tried are great as well. Highly recommended
