Pe Gas Station and Smoke Shop

Appropriately named gas station, which should really be called "piss poor." Probably the slowest pumps that I've ever seen in my driving life- 5 minutes to pump $2 in gas (I stopped it due to frustration). I thought it was my pump, yet when I saw customers experiencing the same thing? No bueno.The interior is not so good. The lone restroom at the far end of the venue was exceptionally dirty with urine all over the floor. C'mon now. After realizing that I had the possibility of standing in urine just to use the bathroom, I made the conscious decision not to relieve myself (I wound up stopping at the QT gas station further down the street). The food items within the store looked unappetizing as well.Altogether, my experience at Pe can be summed up by saying nope, nope, NOPE!

No longer Valero. I always receive a warm welcome from the staff whenever I come in to get a drink. They do offer slots and lottery if you choose to partake. Thank you Pe staff for always making me feel welcome!

I stopped in this store to get some cigarettes. Was leaving the store and noticed my key remote had fallen off my key chain(luckily it fell off inside my car) My door key does not work so here I am with no way to get into my car and of course my phone was in my car as well. I walked back into the store and asked the gentleman if I or he could use the phone to call a locksmith for me. He just said you can only call local numbers and he couldn't do it. He seriously wouldn't help me. I was all alone early morning around 930 am. There of course are no pay phones around so I was literally just stuck. So I started walking and went to the 316 Auto Wraps place and o tried explaining to them I just needed a locksmith called to get into my car at the gas station. They also wouldn't call anyone for me. So I went to the Village Inn Restaurant. Even though the manager was busy, I explained my situation and he looked up on his phone a locksmith company and dialed the number for me. I thanked him and he said the locksmith would be there within the hour. I go back to wait by my car and the man at this store comes out and just stands there looking into my car. He asks if I got ahold of anyone. Well yes, I they should be here shortly. Well I waited and waited and no locksmith. I went in the store to advise him I was going to go back to village inn to see what the hold up was. Well he ignored me at first because he was on his cell phone. He told me earlier he had no phone and it only dialed local numbers. I had no idea that locksmiths in town was a long distance number. I told him I was going to check what the problem was and I'd be back if they pulled up. Found out supposedly the locksmith was 5 minutes away but none ever showed up and an actual customer that pulled into the store helped me get into my car and I in fact gave him $20 for his time. It's really a sad day when people don't use customer service skills to help someone out. Two places that day couldn't take 2 minutes to look up a number and call it for me. I didn't ask for anything else from either business that had the means to do both but we're just hateful and uncaring. I certainly don't recommend this CB place all they want is your money. If he would have been nice and got me the locksmith there I would have gladly gave him the $20 I'm sure that would have covered the cost of his local long distance call.
