I found Pasta Express a decent option for a quick pasta lunch in Wichita. Quality wise, it sits somewhere between Fazoli's and Olive Garden, but portions are generous, prices are more than fair, and the selection is good. I got the Alfredo with crispy chicken and an order of motz sticks. All of this food was like $16, and was easily splittable between two people. The chicken was thin and crispy but still pretty moist...the breading could have used a little more seasoning, but it was still good tasting. The pasta was ever so slightly Al dente, as it should be, and the Alfredo sauce struck a good balance of flavor, though it was slightly more runny than I prefer...not watery, just not as creamy as I would have liked. The motz sticks were good, but they taste like they're probably frozen. While not quite as good as Sonic, they're 8 for $5, so you can't complain too much. All told, Pasta Express is a very reasonably priced lunch spot to get a good meal...it's unlikely to knock your socks off, but you can't do much better for the cost.

This place may be ran by Asians but my goodness, their Cajun shrimp fettuccine Alfredo is top tier! It's spicy, creamy, and filling! The shrimp are large, the noodles are al dente, and the bread is soft.

The food is amazing. It's in a weird neighborhood but take out is available. I recommend the Chicken Picota or chicken Marsala is good too

Very friendly staff! The guy at the counter was very soft spoken and accommodating. The food was flavorful and the portions were generous, especially considering the price. My young son and I wanted a nice meal that was NOT from a fast food place. Something that wasn't a burger or processed taco. He actually found this place on Yelp and we gave it a go. So glad we did as I think it was the best Italian food I've had in quite a while. We will DEFINITELY be going back!

I love pasta. My husband told me about a place that only serves pasta dishes. We came for lunch and I was not disappointed!I ate a fettuccine with italian chicken. There was plenty! I tossed some parmesan over it and dug in. The container looked like it wasn't much, but looks are deceptive, as I was full!My husband had I tf alian sausage over spaghetti. He let me try a piece of the sausage. Delicious! Prices are reasonable, portions are generous. We will visit again.

Ran by one of the previous owners of Sweet Basil. The recipes are tired and true! Love their chicken teriyaki and spicy shrimp fettuccine. The steamed veggies were perfectly good. Lightly flavored with butter, I believe. The breadsticks are freshly made and delicious! Happy they give two for each entree. You have to try their ranch, I believe it's homemade and it's so addicting. Food is plentiful and affordable. I usually have leftovers for another meal. I love that their food comes piping hot, just the way I like it! I work very close by and it's a quick lunch stop to go with friends. Staff is friendly as well!

Another weekly trip to our new favorite Italian place in Wichita. This time husband tried the chicken Parmesan and I tried the lasagne. Both had excellent flavor. Little too much tomato taste for us, but still is classic Italian. Another set of brownies and breadsticks came with the meal. I am telling you the breadsticks are very very good. I will keep coming back to try new dishes. Again we had excellent service.

Since discovering Pasta Express, I now eat her once a week for lunch. Call it in and take it back to the office. I've go as far as calling in food to go and driving from our home at W.119th & N. 13th St. My wife has also fallen in love with their food. Don't let the location of this place fool you. The food it is outstanding and well worth the wait or drive. Give it a try and you won't be sorry.
