We have stayed at the Parkwood Inn twice, and found it clean and hospitable on both occasions. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. It's dog-friendly and is across the street from a nice park, convenient for walking said dog. We requested a ground floor room when we made the reservation and they were happy to accommodate.

Just finished a family road trip from Las Vegas Nevada, to Grand Junction Colorado, Manhattan Kansas, Saint Louis Missouri, Dayton Ohio, Nashville Tennessee, Tulsa Oklahoma, and then Las Vegas New Mexico before returning home to Nevada. We stayed in a "few" hotels, and this one was the best out of them all. Good service at the front desk, great breakfast offered in the morning. The worst part, we only stayed one night.Loved that this hotel was located near another town where you can find The Wizard Of Oz museum.

My friend had her wedding in Manhattan and this was the hotel that she suggested for the guests. They offer a free airport shuttle so I called them to pick me up from the Manhattan airport. When I arrived in the lobby, it was super clean and smells great! They had coffee and other beverages available. My room was awesome. This is the best mattress I have ever slept on. The toiletries in the room were also really great. I can't remember the brand they used, but it was something that I would typically see in a high end hotel. The front desk people were super friendly and remembered my name whenever they saw me. They suggested places for me to go around town and the free shuttle was always available to take me. I highly recommend the Thai place next door (you can walk to it in 2 minutes). The shuttle even dropped me off at the wedding and offered to pick me up from the reception! I didn't have to spend any money on cab fare or Uber my entire time there. The have a full breakfast every morning with sausage, waffles, cereal, bagels, fruit, juice, coffee, cappuccino, and breakfast potatoes. If I ever happen to be in Manhattan again, this would be my hotel of choice.

Stayed for one week, preparing for my best friend's wedding. I forgot my toothbrush and toothpaste but I was able to get them complimentary from the front desk. The temperpedic mattress was like heaven! Definitely up there with the best beds I have ever slept on.In room amenities include: micro-fridge, microwave, soap, mouthwash, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, sewing kit and shower cap.The business center allows you to print for free - a huge plus when you want to check into your flight before you get to the airport! Most of the hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating - only the manager came off as abrasive. Tip: Take the stairs! The elevator is VERY slow. Also, the People's Grocery Co-op is on the other side of the parking lot. Very convenient!Suggestion for the hotel: You should consider installing an automated answering service for the main phone so outside callers can connect to rooms directly. My husband had to wait for 18 rings one time for someone to answer.

This is a really new hotel. Everything is extremely clean and the staff are courteous and helpful. They have a complementary shuttle that picks you up and takes you to the airport. The same shuttle also takes you to Aggieville at certain times, for those of you who don't want to drive. The rooms are modern, spacious and very clean. There's a coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave and a flat screen TV. There's also a desk and an extremely comfy chair that makes me work extra productively!I love how there's a gym downstairs and access to a computer and free printing. I'm also in love with their complementary breakfast where they have scrambled eggs, meat (either bacon, sausage or ham depending on the day), tater tots, 4 different kinds of cereal, biscuits and gravy, toast, bagels, muffins, coffee, orange juice, milk and apple juice. The view from my hotel room was extremely nice because it faced the park. There's also a huge selection of movies in the lobby that you can rent for $1.00.There's really nothing that I disliked about this place except that sometimes the building is squeaky and makes weird noises. But I'm pretty sure that's just the typical Kansas wind. This hotel is reasonably priced and is only 1 mile away from K-State. I would come back and stay at Parkwood again.

The hotel was fine, but I thought I accidentally left a pair of shoes there and called the next day to find out if they had been found. They had and I was told they would be mailed to me. I was 1.5 hours away and would have gone back to pick them up because they were my favorite shoes and very expensive, but the girl said she'd mail them to my house and the hotel would pay, even though I offered to pay shipping. They were not at my house when I arrived a few days later, so I called the hotel. After multiple attempts to find out what happened to my shoes, all I've been told is that they are not at the hotel. I have called and asked for the manager several times, making sure to call when she's scheduled to be at work, and she has not returned my phone calls!

Claimed to be pet friendly, but that couldn't be more false. After calling ahead to confirm pet details, we were placed in a room opposite the elevator and they threatened to call the police on our dogs who would bark at the elevator noise. Desk clerk had no idea how to handle the situation and refused to be accommodating. Do not stay here with pets. Or, just don't stay here.
