Paradise Donuts

Was picking up some breakfast/treats for my family. The donut rack was full as I squeezed in before they technically opened... there was a lot of variety to choose from! The decorated donuts were awesome. I can't wait to get into the sausage rolls!!!! The staff working there is very nice and the clean interior had me confident I made a great choice of donut shops. There are many in the area. However this one has the best customer service. They are friendly and the donuts are fresh. Great little donut shop in downtown Wichita; serving a wide variety of options. If you're not a donut fan, they have a solid breakfast burrito, as well.

Decent donuts not the best in town but if you're in a hurry and this is close it would be a great contender. I find them to taste a little stale. I don't like how the glaze doesn't set up it still feels sticky and slimy when you touch it I prefer a glaze that crisps to hard but you know it's a good joint.

Ever evaluating the glorious donut and the many ways it can be experienced, Paradise made my list the moment it was announced to be opened. My first visit left me unimpressed, but the newness of the shop warranted an allowance to refine the delicate process of producing pastry perfection. My second trip was, unfortunately, equally mediocre. I tried both yeast and cake varieties, in the forms of bear claw, original glazed, and blueberry coffee stick. The bear claw and original were basic puffy, sweet concoctions that avoided the pitfall of being overly doughy but lacked the slight hint of crispiness of a perfectly fried yeast donut. Not to say they were terrible, merely ordinary and altogether generic. The cake style coffee stick was on the dry side, and the streusel crumble on top surprisingly offered no discernible textural difference. Overall, Paradise donuts rate above cellophane wrapped and Walmart bakery donuts, but even Kroger offers a better rendition of coffee's closest companion.

Absolutely the best raised donuts and baked cinnamon rolls on the west side of Wichita hands down. A+

Cute little spot in downtown Wichita. The lady behind the counter was very nice and fun to chat with, so I'd give the service 5-stars. The donuts themselves aren't out of this world, but they're tasty. If I find myself back in Wichita, I'd certainly come back.

We were excited to try this place but when we walked in the employee was so grumpy. He seemed annoyed that we were giving his establishment business. It was like an awkward and weird rudeness. The donut selection was very limited and the donut was just decent. If your a small shop I would think a little more friendly customer service would serve you well.

They are very good, if you can ever find them open. The actual hours of operation, are not what they have posted. Usually they are closed Monday-Wednesday, Sometimes open on Thursday mornings, and Occasionally on Friday. Saturday and Sunday seems consistent. I drive by every day, but have to get in the other lane to stop in. Since I never know if they will be there, I quit fighting the traffic and go on by
