Wanted to help redeem some of the earlier poor posts. This is a perfectly acceptable little restaurant. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. Was a little surprised that it didn't come with lettuce and tomato but the hash browns insteadof fries were a nice surprise. My friend ordered the surf and turf special. Steak was cooked as ordered and had nice flavor.

This place is a joke!!Well right off the bat the waitress was not the most friendly. She seemed a bit put off when we tried to change our order. One of our group asked for seasoning on the steak and they refused to do it because others complained before. She said, and I quote... "We haven't put seasoning on our steaks since the 70s" How are these people even open at all. Why would you want to go spend that much money on something that has absolutely no flavor??? That's the whole point of being a chef, is making your food better than anybody else's. Learn how to cook your food correctly and people won't complain!!!They charge for lemon....‍‍‍ SERIOUSLY??? I DON'T CARE THAT'S IT'S ONLY A DIME, that's just ridiculous My poppers were made with cheddar cheese not cream cheese. (also that's not what it said on the menu... False advertising) YUCK!Not to mention, she got a little defensive when I wanted a refund for them. She took them back to the Cook and they both discussed and laughed at us complaining because they weren't what it said on the menu... Who even does that... In front of the customer... Seriously WTF‍‍‍I ordered chicken breast and the salad. The chicken breast was not horrible, moisture wise, but completely tasteless... Again no seasoning‍ Lets just say, The salad, was the joke. A restaurant that charges these prices should not have plain iceberg lettuce with a little cabbage mixed in for a dinner salad entrée and nothing else in it other than it being the only restaurant in a 30 mile radius to serve a steak... I Don't know how this place is open. Small town... friends supporting friends, bravo to you.I hope you're able to stay open another 50 years. I just know I won't be coming back.I suggest you go to Subway. The food will be better!!!

By far the best prime rib in Nebraska! Not to mention the great service and unique atmosphere.

Nice place to eat, I got bad reviews from the females at the grocery store so I was a little skeptical. However, it wasnt bad at all.

Very good burger. One of the best had in a long time. We were here visiting family and when we come back we will be stopping by here again. My husband had the steak and it was really good. The inside of the place could use a bit of an upgrade, but overall had a great experience.

This place is horrible!!! The service is the worst. The owner/ server is soooo rude and has absolutely no personality. The food is mediocre at best. The decor is super tacky and should be in a basement, not a restaurant. I highly recommend staying away from this place at all costs!!!

Five stars for quick burger, good fries, and lots of memorabilia from sports and rock stars on the wall. More diner food, not five star food, but 5 star service and decor. Right by the Cather center.

Since new ownership took place, the place has gone down hill fast. Had the bacon cheeseburger which consisted of a piece of shoe leather the size of a white castle burger on a bun the size of a whopper with a 1/3 piece of cheese and bacon bits. Service consisted of here is your menu what ya having 25 min. wait for food, here's your food and how is everything with the bill in her hand. Last time I will be eating there....Sure miss the old Palace and Tom.

Great people, good food, and an amazing value! Whether you stop in for a lunchtime burger or the huge hunk o' prime rib on Thursday nights, you won't be disappointed!
