Nice small business that is using the oz name to its advantage to draw consumers in. Nice gimmick because it works. There were many people there. Nice people and a nice selection of wine

Food, service, and atmosphere was amazing! We booked a private party and there was a small hiccup with our reservation but the staff was so accommodating and knowledgeable about the wines and foods. Our party was in a private room in the back that was perfect for our date. We had a great time chatting learning about the different wines. I'm not necessarily a wine connoisseur but, we tasted a total of 10 wines? I think and I absolutely LOVED all but one; we ended up purchasing two bottles. The cheeses, chocolates, and jams paired so perfectly with each wine. They did NOT skimp on the snacks either, we were absolutely stuffed with wine and finger foods by the time we left. We even got a discount on merchandise for booking a party. HIGHLY recommend the pepper bacon jam and the goat milk caramel.

It's an absolute must to stop here right after visiting the Oz museum. A cute winery located in the heart of downtown Wamego. Like almost the rest of the strip, it is themed after the Wizard of Oz. The wines all have names with some correlation of the movie, and even the designs on the bottles tie in as well. It's important to know before doing a tasting that there is a small selection to choose from; maybe 7 or 8 wines. You can try two for free, or more with a small fee. I prefer sweet wines and there were only 2, so I just stuck with my free pours. The Squished Witch was my favorite, which is a berry wine. The Fraidy Cat was another great one! The wine was a bit more on the expensive side, $22-$28 for one bottle. They've got a lot of fun trinkets in their gift shop as well.

I was not a big fan of the wine here but, it is cute place with charm and the wine flight trees are pretty cute. The wine is decent and we had partaken after the Oz Museum, and relaxed and had some wine. Why 4 stars if not a fan of wine? Well wine is like art can be very subjective and this place had it going on from service to their little store offering chocolates, and local goods. It was a great place to take a break before heading to lunch at Toto's Taco's.Kudos OW!

On my second visit to Wamego, KS I finally stopped into the Oz Winery. The customer service was top notch and the lady who was there was super welcoming and knowledgeable. She provided a couple complimentary samples and I ultimately purchased a bottle of wine to go. I also ordered some of the chocolates to go. The dark chocolate peanut cluster and the amaretto truffle were amazing and I regret not buying more. I didn't care for the double chocolate truffle.

Visited right at noon on a weekday. Good wines. Not an overly friendly experience.... A little cold and formal.Wines were very good, though. Each a unique taste to say the least and most all labels playing off the Wizard of Oz theme. The only winery I've ever visited that actually tries to charge you for winery corks. And, their winery sticker is $2.75. Puh-Leeze! Both the corks AND for sure the sticker are advertising your business! And you want the customer to pay to advertise your business for you?

Such a lovely and sweet little establishment! My husband and I were looking for a few bottles of Oz wine to take home from a recent trip and ended up spending about an hour there and purchasing some nice things to be shipped home. Our sommelier, Brooke, was very helpful, incredibly friendly and a lot of fun. She allowed for us to sample several wines of varying tastes and even included some caramel chips to bring out the flavor in a dessert wine we tried. She absolutely went above and beyond in helping us choose without just telling us what to buy. If we're ever in Kansas again, we'll be sure to drop in again. If you want some great wine, darling little decor items, INCREDIBLE chocolates and some of the best customer service ever, this is the place to visit!

The place is perfect going of a theme of the wizard of OZ all there bottles have a unique name/label based of it like Squished Witch. They are all different types of table wines not aged they all still have a unique delicious taste. They have a free limited tasting perfect for me as we came into town as a day trip. Seems like it would also be a fun place to just sit and have a glass with maybe some of there artisan cheese or chocolate. Bottle prices are reasonable with the quality of the blend and the creative oz theme. If I'm ever back in town will be back though definitely at some point will order online from this local small business.
