Owls Nest Campground

It's a very nice RV park with plenty of shade. It's very well taken care of. Easy access from/to I70.

We stopped over, on our way, *and* on the way back - if that tells you anything! :) Cute place, easy to find, well maintained, clean, paved, level... all the things you want when traveling... And, the staff left us directions on where to park and everything! Nice folks!!! They have a very clear map, on a large sign right when you pull in, so that if you arrive after dark, you know where to go. All the spots are named after owls - so cute! There are some long-term folks, so that told us it was quite safe... Yes - when you read other reviews, it is close to the highway... we travel with earplugs, so it wasn't an issue with us. We'd definitely stay there again!

Staff was friendly when we called... Just pulled in, neat spacious semicircular spots seem like they provide some privacy and a little yard space too! Can hear the expressway outside of the RV but being close to I-70 will be nice and convenient when we leave. Eisenhower's presidential library is about 20 minutes from Owl's Nest. Super!

Clean, dry, solid roads, grassy and scenic, peaceful, and great price. Laundry, wifi, shower, and 2pm checkout! They tell you the real price. Not like how most places advertise you the price for the spare mud hole with no hookup in the back.

Reserve online, reasonably priced. One week stay in this little park, close to Junction City and Fort Riley . Full hookups in pull- thru half circle asphalt tar or back-in sites. Close to Hwy 70 with some noise. Laundry/shower area available.

Available spot for our size rv was right next to a very busy road. lots are gravel pads. No amenities. We did meet a lovely older couple who lives there. Would not recommend.

This Campground is nice and cozy. The Staff are some awesome people. They are always willing to go above and beyond. The tenants, even people just passing through are friendly. Kids can go out and play and you'll find everyone is watching these kids. The laundry room is always clean. The bathroom and shower are maintained daily. They also have a Sauna! A sauna!... absolutely a must if you pass through or looking for a temporary seasonal spot!
