Oriental & American Restaurant

My son was hungry for Chinese food, so we Googled searched near by Chinese food in Phillipsburg, Kansas and located this place. Waitress did an ok job, (I had to request a refill several times. She did check once to see how the food was), even though she was by herself. Food was ok. Nothing super fancy or exciting, but it was decent. Will go back again!

Quaint little place. Clean inside and waitress was pleasant and very helpful. The egg drop soup was Amazing as was the almond chicken. Huge portions as well. I will definitely stop back next time through town.

This restaurant was very good to eat at for American and Asian food in Phillipsburg kansas.

Moo Goo Gai Pan was very good. Disappointed that there was not a buffet. High school girls taking orders need extra training in Chinese food and serving food.

We frequent the Oriental. Excellent egg rolls and burgers! They recently remodeled and it looks very nice

The staff was friendly & our food came out quickly. I made the mistake of ordering chicken fried rice. What I was served was a mound of bland rice topped with a sprinkling of green onions & sliced, dried out chicken--no egg or other vegetables. It was obvious that the ingredients were not cooked together & no additional seasoning was added. I could only eat a small amount. I don't think the cook knew what it was supposed to taste like.

Not sure I will eat there again! Just pulled in the parking lot, the sign said open till 830! It was seven minutes after eight, they looked out the window, and turned off the open sign! Not good business in my opinion!I am giving it one star, because it would not let me post it without giving it least one star
