On The Brix

My wife and I have been coming here every chance we get as her parents live in town. Initially, we didnt think it would last as the most people in the area won't pay more than $5 for a meal(according to my father in law). The original owners were wonderful and have since opened up a gym across the street and have passed the this place on to another couple who have continued run a great business. It has always had great wine to drink and purchase along with charcuterie boards. Somewhere along the way they added some great local beers on tap and for purchase and some really nice cocktails. If you are in town for Willa Cather or for any reason really, it's more than worth a visit!

An oasis after a long day's drive. Great wine selection as well as beer and cocktails. The local owners have done a wonderful job with the decor and furnishings. While they have small plates of cheese, olives, etc, you can also order a pizza from a local vendor and have it delivered. We look forward to stopping here each time we drive through Red Cloud. A great place to meet the residents of this delightful town.
