Old Broadway Club

Used to be great and our go to for a burger in town. No longer cook burgers to order. Now only well done...really well done.

Great pub grub!!! Burgers are yummy with unique flairs. I almost always order the Mother Teresa which has mushrooms and onions. My son loves the John Wayne... not sure what's on it but it looks amazing. The homemade chips are my favorite. Service is friendly and drinks are always A+. This is a perfect lunch go to spot. Decor is a bar.....it's a bar. Nothing fancy and not the chairs are level. Some say that could add to the quaintness. We have only been to this place at night one time. The have local bands play and we went to watch one. I really enjoyed the tame crowd and of course the drinks. If you haven't been here you should give it a try. It's in an old part of Joplin and defiantly a hidden gem.

Great neighborhood bar. A lot of familiar faces but they always seem to draw in new patrons too. Menu focuses on delicious burgers but also has great chicken and even the salads are good. Green leaf lettuce--yum!Service is friendly and attentive. Owners Adam and Amanda are really nice.

DO NOT waste your money. We went in on Saturday night with a group on 4 people. We arrived and ordered our drinks and two of the four starting playing music from their juke box of Touch Tunes. One person used 20$ worth of credits and the other 15$ worth of credits. We got to noticing our songs were being stopped in the middle of the song or when we would look at the history on the app it would show they had already played, when it hadn't. One person went up the the bartender and asked him what was going on. One of the friends we were with owned a bar in town and stated that someone behind the counter was skipping our songs so he could hear what he wants.... WOW. We watched the bartender so over and ask the cook something about it, they turned and looked at us and laughed. Horrible business practice. We all will make sure everyone knows what horrible business this bar does.

I ended up at this bar on a Thursday night because my favorite bartender was moved to this location for Thursday nights. It was good to see Z and it was a decent place and I met some fine folks. I would recommend frequenting this establishment if and only if you take a taxi or can walk from home. This part of town has a swarm of police presence on the surrounding streets so beware and be smart. I won't be back. I'll catch Z at the Tropicana closer to my home where he belongs full time. BTW The dynamic at The Trop was off on Thursday and as a result it was a slow night...

What a find! Locally owned, wonderful wait staff and a great atmosphere combine to create the O.B.C. The food is wonderful have not made it through the full menu but loved everything I've tried. The outdoor area is perfect way to enjoy a beautiful day! Hidden gem!

If you don't like OBC...then F@$k You. The food is top notch. The service is the cat's pajamas and the bee's knees. The ambiance makes the Double Deuce wish Patrick Swayze could be a bouncer for OBC.
