Excellent selection, best in the Fort Riley area. The place is well-organized, clean and the display cases are fantastic. In addition to the usual gun-store glass gun cases, there are fantastic black rifles, shotguns, etc. hanging off every wall. The staff and owner are very cool and helpful, e.g. their closing time is 1700hr on Saturdays, but if there are people in the store, they'll stay open another hour. I recently purchased a suppressor there and Cole took me through the whole Class III Title II process. The staff makes a point of understanding what your needs are and helping you meet them. They're working on opening up a shooting range across the street where you'll be able to rent full-auto tommy guns, etc.UPDATE: The gun range is now open. Waiting for it to appear on Yelp to do a review.

Nice little place, but the only complaint that I have is that the RANGE IS CLOSED ON WEDNESDAYS! The guy in the shop explained that it's so they can be open on Sunday, but honestly, it should be open every day (but that's just "me").I felt bad about just giving two stars cause they have some nice stuff and the staff is nice, but the only sticking point with me is that the one day I wanted to go shoot, the dang range is closed.

Unsafe and dangerous place to shoot. Poor air quality. Discourteous and unfriendly staff. Don't waste your time and money on this place.

I bought a Stag Arms 6.8 SPC from here. The weapon would jam every third or fourth round. They said they would have their gunsmith take a look at it. He came to the conclusion that it was my magazine that they sold me. So they told me to buy another one of their magazines because they wouldn't give me a new one for free even though their first one they sold me didn't work. Crappy right! Well guess what that wasn't the problem. I went to Godfrey's to shoot it since Ogden's Best doesn't allow over 5.56 frangible at their range. On a side note, who sells guns at their gun store and doesn't have the proper range to shoot them. I mean come on it's not like I bought a 338 Lapua or a Barret 50 cal. They really need to fix their range limits if they are going to sell AK's, 308's, 30-06's and 6.8 SPC. Anyways back to my gun problem. I brought it back in and told them it was still having the same issue. They told me to buy some ammo so they could shoot it at their "personal" range. They said I was most likely not lubricating my weapon enough and they wanted to test it. So I did. They went to the range and shot 3 rounds and said it was good to go. NOPE. I went back to Godfrey's with my weapon soaked in CLP. (By the way, I know how to lubricate a weapon I've been shooting since I was 12 and I've been in the Army for the past 7 years). Push come to shove I was tired of dealing with them so I called Stag Arms up and they told me that the barrel was not put on correctly and they sent me a new upper receiver. When I got my 6.8 back I decided I was done with 6.8 SPC and I wanted to upgrade to 308. The owner Barry at Ogden's Beat offered me $200 on a trade for it. I PAID $1000 FOR THE RIFLE A MONTH EARLY FROM THEM. I walked out. Ogden's Best's gunsmith is a joke and their owner is a jerk. They always have a bad attitude and they hate helping out new gun buyers (not me, I've seen them very impatient with other customers). Everyone I know hates the shop. I will be going to Pats down the street. They are awesome, have great prices, and give good deals on trades. Btw, Pats gave me $800 for the Stag.
