I had to board my dog for the first tome and was nervous about it, the staff were great, she had a great time and they sent me pictures of her playing while I was gone. I found a new Vet now too!

A list to justify 5 stars you ask?!-Outstanding bedside manner-Accredited veterinarians -Kind veterinarian technicians-Competitive pricing for services-Rebates on most products-Efficient appointment times-Saturday slots available-Thoughtful care throughoutAlso, I cannot speak on the previous reviewer's opinion, but simply say that my pet has had over a dozen appointments spanning 3 years and has always received outstanding care.

I am legally blind and have worked with three guide dogs since 1995I have brought all three of my dogs, over the years to Oak crest ever since it first openedPrior to that some of the medical staff cared for my first guy dog and my family has used their services ever since I was very young... So I've had a very long relationship with medical stuff hereAnytime any of my guides have needed vaccinations or wellness check ups or dental procedures etc. we have always received top notch careIn the case of my second guide dog, a golden retriever with significant allergy issues, the staff here went over and beyond my best expectations in helping sort everything out and believe me it was a bit complicatedI appreciate very much that the staff and medical personnel at the clinic here are very comfortable in consulting with the guy dog school as needed and the fact that they are very comfortable with direct billing the school when and if neededWhen I have taking my dogs for care they have treated me just like they would treat anybody else and if I needed something explain in a little more details such as how to do a specific type of procedure in giving medication or other things they have been very good at helping me understand things that might be a little complicated as wellI'm very sorry that one of the reviewer's here had a negative experience... I understand how upsetting that could be... However, I would absolutely recommend this clinic to anybody who would like a great place with a fantastic atmosphere and people that you can tell genuinely care about you and your pety

they were really nice and care for their patients. The last vet i went to somewhere else barely spent enough time with us in the room , I had time to ask just one question. The vet at oakcrest did not seem rushed and spent plenty of time with us and answered all of my questions

Doctor Ocampo saw my bunny and did everything in his power to save him, even referring me to another vet for a second opinion without me having to ask for it. The staff is so kind and really do care. I usually don't have good experiences at vet offices, but even though this was a really hard visit, they did such a good job. I'm extremely grateful for Oakcrest. They really are the best vet hospital I've ever gone to. I will be taking my dog here for his visits.

These folks are great! They will get you in quickly and work well with filling mail in pet meds through Chewy. They have also been great at accommodations and taking the COVID 19 threat seriously. They recently moved into a brand new building and still have reasonable costs. I have referred my sister in law and my mother here, both of which have been satisfied with their prompt and affordable service!

Oakcrest Pet Hospital in Wichita, Kansas is a clinic that I would NOT recommend to anyone. During a routine dental cleaning, the veterinarian removed my dog's left lower canine tooth UNNECESSARILY and WITHOUT MY CONSENT. It was specifically stated in the waiver I signed that I would be notified FIRST as well as provided a cost estimate. This did NOT happen. I should have been consulted before a drastic decision like that was made. When I reached out to the owner to express my concern and anger, he told me that it was THEIR decision to make and not mine.They are too quick to pull teeth and this will now affect my dog's quality of life and cause her long term physical challenges. I am sharing this information publicly because after my pup was mistreated, and myself a long time customer, denied the right to make a VERY important decision regarding my dog's care, I need to do whatever I can to keep this from happening to anyone else's fur kids.

I was very pleased not just for the treatment my fur babies received but also for the Doctors focus on my description of what I was observing at home. A focused and caring bedside manner is priceless when it comes to my fur babies. At Oakcrest Pet Hospital I get the caring focused bedside manner that I have found other Vet clinics to be lacking. I am truly thankful to the staff for the great care that they provide for my family. I would highly recommend Oakcrest Pet Hospital!
