Northwoods Wedding Chapel

The location is gorgeous. Our over all experience was ok. We were very, very displeased with the time allotted, allowed, and paid for at the chapel...however did not receive full time slot. Our ceremony was at 2pm, we were in the truck at 2:35pm. Guests are supposed to receive 1 HOUR at the chapel per the website.We were also pushed off the property while trying to take pictures of our big day. Granted, I misread the website that bringing a photographer (professional or not) would cost an additional $100, and I fully admit that. However when I booked and paid for the chapel I had asked Betty if it was ok that we took some pictures at the location, she agreed that was fine. We snapped a few shots before the wedding, during the ceremony, and attempted to take family pictures afterwards when we were shunned off the property by I assume to be Larry. Never once was explained there was an additional charge for bringing our own camera, nor offered to pay the $100 so we were able to get the pictures we wanted. He was also very, very rude about us getting off the property. I do not have one single picture of my husband and I on our wedding day.I've emailed them explaining my experience, in hopes to change the experience for future guests. However I have yet to get a response from anyone.
