Northrock Hospital for Animals

Love Northrock and have been taking my dogs there for years. I unfortunately did take off a star due to pricing - they are VERY high on most items, and they regularly raise prices. That being said, it's a convenient location, and the staff and especially Dr Rypma are the best. Just wish they were more affordable!

The staff and doctor were very kind and friendly. Their pricing is outrageous. I was quoted $350. I ended up paying $560! All for a virus. My pocketbook can not afford their pricing. Plus letting me know my bill was going to be more would have been the right thing to do. I'll look for another Vet.

Hands down the best place in Wichita to take your animals. The physicians are incredibly competent and without a doubt go above and beyond to ensure your animals are taken care of. The entire team there operate as a well-oiled machine and its clear they communicate with each other. I've called in the past checking the status of my animals and the folks I spoke with could tell me how it was going and the current status right at that moment. Furthermore, as my animals had to stay for a short period, the weekend staff allowed my wife and I to come and give love to our dogs for a few moments. Lastly, when its time to purchase their heartworm and flea/tick pills, the front desk staff present all the money saving coupons in association with the specific brand they sale; super bonus as its always a good day to save a bit! The facility is clean and staff professional, there's no other place I would take my dogs.

I have been a client here for 30 years, through many beloved pets. The vets at Northrock have been wonderful, kind and caring. It is more than just getting vaccinations, they help me solve behavior problems, aging problems, and have saved my Shih Tzu from death with her chronic health issues more that once! Highly recommend a visit with your pet.

I wanted to take a few minutes to thank you guys for the excellent care you've provided.I've taken my three dogs to you guys for the last 9 years. Late this week my parents' dog became really ill. They took her to their own vet clinic, but when she got progressively worse on Friday their vet clinic wasn't able to see her or offer guidance. By Saturday morning she was vomiting pools of blood. When my parents called their vet Saturday morning they were unable to get her in. They called the animal hospital and were told it would be 6-8 hours until she could be seen. I contacted you guys, and you graciously agreed to take her on as a new client and see her immediately.Your staff was patient with walking us through new client forms and helpful with getting pertinent medical information. You guys were able to get labs done on her, get some treatment started, and place a catheter. Your team then worked with the animal hospital to get her referred as a high priority patient. You all stayed past your closing time to give top notch service. Dr. Terry was able to jumpstart her diagnostic process and get her fever down. Dr. Terry was very patient and kind with giving us information about what could be going on and guidance on how to care for her until she could be admitted to the hospital.I am so thankful for your willingness to accept my parents' dog as a new patient today and for taking such good care of us during this stressful time. You all have provided so much comfort and care to my family through some difficult and scary times with our dogs. We love them immensely and are happy to have them in your care.Thank you to the full team! The vets, vet techs, and front office staff are wonderful.

This is the most caring vets you will find in Wichita. They care for your pets as though they were their own. They treat each customer as they were their only one. Professional, courteous and kind. Their whole crew runs as well as a well oiled machine, very smooth. While they are not the most cost effective, they are awesome! You know the old adage, you get what you pay for. S. mayer

Took my dog here over a week ago twice when she was sick and they got her in right away both times! They call every week to check up on her to make sure she is getting better! Couldn't be happier with this experience. This is my dogs new vet, I won't take her anywhere else!
