First of all the staff at this place is rude up to and including the vice president. It seems that when the staff is rude and you complain about it, it is somehow your fault. I came here once to the ER because I had a kidney stone 2.5cm causing me to vomit and sweat and be in the most severe pain. The ER Dr. accused me of being here to get opioids. I have never been so insulted in my life and I was perfectly happy with an anti inflammatory that would take the pain away until I could get in for surgery. Another time We came in for my wife's mammogram and they have all the chairs spaced out so I had my wife sit on my lap. The check in gal yelled that isn't appropriate in here. Very rude total b****. Told the other staff about it and they seemed to understand. Turned in paperwork to see if I qualified for assistance and somehow they don't have it although I hand delivered it. At one of their clinics I was having an issue with my hip. The clinic In Valley Center didn't have an x-ray tech that day so they scheduled me with their other clinic in Park city in 10minutes. We had to hurry!!! Well we got there in time but when we checked in we were told there was someone in there ahead of me. Okay then why did we have to rush over here if there was an appointment ahead of mine? Then it was oh well it had to be maintenanced before they could use it. Again, very rude staff. Same visit finally got in for the x-ray (my Dr. very specifically told me he wanted a weight bearing x-ray) just laid me on the table took a couple pictures and told me they were done. I asked about the weight bearing images and the tech called my providers office and left a message. My Dr's nurse , Jesse, calls back and I quote "So I here you have my biggest pain in the butt patient there". She has NEVER had to even speak to me before or has she really even ever met me. Long story short Don't go to ANY NMC HEALTH facilities unless you want to be treated Like you are at Whiskey Dicks. Their menu is literally mostly processed food so full of Sodium and probably nitrites and nitrates.

My review deal with the food in the café, not medical care. The food itself is sub quality. The temperature of the food is always off. Items that should be hot are just warm, and sometimes cold. They do not seem to use their steam tables to keep things warm. Then they over charge you. DO NOT buy from the salad bar. The charge you by the ounce and it is expensive. A typical salad you would pay $6 or $7 for elsewhere will cost over $10. The Café is a profit center for the hospital. Thus, their main concern is how much profit they get, not quality of their product.

Not very pleased with this place. My wife has Diastisis, which is a separation of the stomach muscles that sometimes happens after giving birth. When she asked Dr. Brenda Harkins about it at a follow up appointment, she dismissed it (and didn't even want to check) and said you can try crunches if you want, but it may not help. So after a few weeks of doing crunches and noticing it getting worse my wife called her old doctors office and they told her the right information, NOT to do crunches and how to get on the right rehab program for it.A few weeks later my wife got Mastitis (again). She had had it before and so knew the symptoms well, a fever, sore breast, etc. She called this office again and told them she had it and wanted to get it checked out. They said that since it had been 8 months since she had started breast feeding that they didn't think that it was Mastitis. After checking online and double checking with her old doctor again, she found out that you can get Mastitis at anytime during breast feeding. She called this place and set up an appointment despite what they had said earlier and sure enough, the Mastitis was confirmed. This is two strikes against them\this doctor that caused my wife's pain to continue needlessly longer than it needed to be and in the first cause, could had worsened the condition. If you still end up going here, beware the information they give you.

This review is for their ER. Excellent service there, caring, friendly staff, and short wait times. What else could ANYONE want from an Emergency Room?

DO NOT USE for Physical Therapy. Care for patients is subpar. Lack of ability to properly transfer patients. My mother in law had a stroke entering this place without bruises on her left leg and and arm (effected by the stroke). Now is covered in bruises due to the RN's inability to safely transfer her (Personally witnessed) dropping her down in the wheelchair and on the bed while rolling her left ankle. They also do not listen to family members or patients with concerns.
