Super cute little shop! Traveling through and needed some coffee. This little shop was a great place to stop. I got one of their seasonal coffees, it is delicious! It was hot but not so hot that I couldn't drink it without causing 3rd degree burns. The flavors are so nice, you may not expect this quality in a small town- but they are on it here! The lady that helped me was very kind and patient, she suggested a few options and I left happy! They do offer non-dairy creamer options. Besides coffee they also have a few sweet treats, I wasn't hungry so I didn't try them but they looked freshly made. There are shirts, cups, food items, some antiques, and so many other things! Worth a stop if you're in the area.

Growing up in post WWII small town America, I remember when Newkirk's Main Street included mostly, somewhat, thriving businesses. Some years ago most of the store fronts were sadly vacant, but in a recent return visit we were delighted to be greeted cheerfully by proprietor, Shannon, as she stood ready to take our order for coffee and a bagel. In 1965 I never thought I'd request, let alone immensely enjoy, an asiago bagel w cream cheese and lox in Newkirk (actually I had never had a bagel or lox at that point in my life) but there I was, a bit skeptically trying something I'd more likely order in NYC. Delicious was every bite, and the coffee brew was better than Dunkin DoNuts in Boston. We bought a few books (local history and a cookbook), some spices and a number of hilarious cards! We liked it so much we returned the next morning to experience their scrumptious home made pesto cream cheese. My wife had a paleo-bar as we sat in Craftsman antique rocking chairs devouring our breakfast treats washed down with their just-bracing-enough hot coffee. If you are anywhere near US 77 in Kay County don't miss this enchanting step back in time (like Mr Drucker's store on Green Acres) but with all the appropriate upgrades (chocolate truffles, lox, and pesto instead of a pickle barrel)! Loved it!
