Newell Station

This place is awesome. There are like 4 other fuel stops around, but go here. They are friendly af, have a good selection of stuff. Clean bathrooms and showers, plus an arcade - win for all involved

The newell truck stop that is located of the interstate in Newton Kansas is one of my most favorite jems. The once separated restaurant from the shopping center was always nice. Not sure how I feel about having to walk through the mini mart to get to the restaurant. Also the removal of the gaming area and replacing it with a slot machine/video poker area is not my favorite as well. The food however is as good as it was 10 years ago when I lived in Newton. The pancakes after midnight are always amazing and when it's slow you get to sit in the trucker section. Coffee is tasty and I walk out full and ready for bed!

REALLY nice and clean place on the inside! The bathrooms are top notch and it has a grocery store, restaurant, showers, and seems like a hotel. It might look shabby on the outside but is is really tidy on the inside. It is a gas station for trucks, RVs and cars.

This is one of most favorite truck stops. The food is the best and the people that work here know what customer service is. The showers are the best anywhere. Kinda like a fancy hotel. This is a stop you have to make.

Several things.We pull into their MOTORHOME side of the gas station and find almost all their pumps are out of order except one. At the ONE that we thought was working sat a truck as if they were inside paying, so we parked behind said truck.As we are waiting for truck owner to return and move on so we can fuel, we noticed a black plastic bag covering the handle. It's not like the other pumps with a bright yellow out of order bag over the handle.(pictured)My Dad, who is 79 years old and a caregiver to my 75 year old Mother, says he will go in and ask the owner of the truck to move. Because we cannot back up, we have to pull through but truck is preventing our ability to do so.While that was happening I was helping my mother in the motorhome. Couple minutes pass. I go in. The woman says truck belongs to her boss, who lives in the building/motel (I can't make this up). She also states there are several employees who live in building/motel but she does not and she is the one who has to work a double. Poor thing.Newell Station or Phillips 66 or Pilot Flyby what could you do to improve this situation? 1. Don't allow employees to park at the gas pumps2. Answer the phone when staff is "911" texting you and leaving voicemails.3. Don't allow staff to live at the motel that is meant for guest.That is all I have. It seems no one has claimed this Yelp page and I feel it will not go any further than this review. Pictures will say the rest.No stars for this gas station/grocery store/restaurant/I guess an employee motel....BUT Yelp is asking to give a Star to be able to post this review. Such as life!Be safe and informed my friends!

Eaten here many times. Excellent food, friendly people, excellent facility with very clean restrooms, great food selection from the grocery section and the best buffet in Newton bar none. Thank you.
