New Dragon Restaurant

I love this restaurant. Not only are the owners amazing people, but my food is always delicious & amazing. Exactly what I order and hot and speedy!

This has been our go-to for over a decade! The food is outstanding! It's family owned & they could not be nicer. If you are in town, definitely worth a try!!Edited to add: The reviewer Corbyne has the wrong restaurant!! They are reviewing the Taste of China restaurant in town nearby. New Dragon does not have a fish tank. Both Chinese restaurants but no comparison. They are correct in the one star for Taste of China though.

Delicious!!! Always fresh cooked, friendly, and the portions are great!! Definitely the best Asian cuisine in town!!!

This was our first time to New Dragon as it is, it was formally Red Dragon. We usually eat at the buffet in town, but thought we'd give it a try as our in laws spoke highly about the food. Parking and Environment:There was plenty of parking around the restaurant. We went in between lunch and dinner around 2:30 PM. It was very dark, almost looked closed. That is my only qualm about our visit, everything else was wonderful!The food:I ordered the sesame chicken and my wife ordered spicy shrimp. It was absolutely delicious! Sometimes sesame chicken is sickly sweet, but this wasn't at all! It was cooked with bell pepper and had just the right amount of sweet with spice! Loved it! The wife loved her shrimp as well... She said it wasn't what she expected, but was still great! Prices were very fair. The wait staff:I believe the owners wife was waiting on us, can't be 100% sure on that. She kept our drinks full and was very kind. I definitely recommend checking this place out if you are in the area!

Edible.I came here after it was highly recommended. I should have guessed it would be lack luster when we were the only vehicles in the parking lot. We went inside. The buffet was empty, which we were looking for, most of the lights were off, and a man and woman were sitting in the dark talking. We thought they were closed but the lady then got up to seat us.I was stoked to see a "spicy" list on the menu. I love spicy food.My meal was.... probably pre-cooked as they have a note saying it would cost more to take items out of your order. It didn't taste pre-packaged but wasn't good enough to tell if it was fresh or not, save for the celery.I asked for some chili paste, my meal was not spicy, and the chili paste must have been old, to heat, just chunks of pepper seeds and fleck in a oil bath. It wasn't what I was after.The best I can give this restaurant is that it was edible. I could probably have gotten chinese food from Walmart and run it through the microwave and I wouldn't have been able to tell the difference. It's not bad if your main goal is to sit and talk either, it was nice and quiet with only us in there.I'll give it another shot some time but this trip was disapointing.

Haven't had egg drop soup this amazing in a very long time. The chicken chow mein is something that you don't want to miss there crab Rangoon is full of crab haven't had anything that I have not liked

The food is fresh & is a family worked restaurant. Service is very kind & the family takes pride in their food.I recommend you Order ahead for those high peaks of service. A chef can only do so much at a time. ‍The restaurant also has a Sunday Buffet which a lot of people appreciate in Guymon after church.

Their food here is amazing! I wish they had the buffet every day but Sunday will work. It's always fresh and has never let me down.

If i could give no stars, I would. We were staying close to the restaurant and decided to get some. The chicken was slimy, squishy, and even had some pink pieces. I was the only one who got this chicken but my brother had some of mine and he and i are the only ones who got sick. Would not recommend at all.

Their food is usually fairly decent. If you do not like your beef rare to medium rate then you best not order the beef. They have issues getting beef done. I gave to have my meat cooked well done. But this is how it comes. Took it home and cooked it.
