Free admission. Very small museum. Mostly filled with old letters, some kitchen items/appliances, some old farm equipment, etc. Nothing really cool that I would remember. Since it's free you might as well go, but it took me about 5 minutes to walk through so don't expect a long day at the museum.

Pretty specialized place. The staff knows a lot about Riley County and MHK. Don't go looking for art or dinosaur bones, this is a history museum. Get a tour of the Goodnow House for a real experience.

At the cost of free this is a must for people new to the area. It provides a good history of Manhattan and surrounding area. Not an explanation on a lot of things, so if really interested, a guided tour would have been better.
