Ok the title of this place sounds horrible like a junky place how far from that this was a private collection of very very high end antiques collectibles and artifacts beyond anything I could imagine and it's in the town they have a T. rex we are so glad we went it's like having several pieces from major museums in one collection !! I'm a rock collector and rock group member so glad to see specimens I might even donate some to this place

Much better than I anticipated. Multiple historical eras of natural science as well as human history. Admission is not bad with the varied discounts available, veteran, senior citizen, student, etc.

So fun, for adult or kids. A great amount of things to look at and it seemed like they have a good amount of exhibits that change and rotate. 3 floors of stuff and great readings.

Love this place. Love the history and it is so worth becoming a member even if it's a year. Took my mom, aunt, and kids (teenagers). They all loved learning all the history.

Extremely touristy, pricey tickets, and catered especially toward children. There were dozens of screaming children scurrying the halls of this three-floor museum, most of which ended up in the kids' play area which takes up one-third of the top floor. But that on its own doesn't warrant a poor review. What really makes this a hard pass for any visiting Wichita is how expensive, random, and poor quality the museum is. First, discounted student tickets still ran a high price. Second, the exhibits are placed sporadically and vary from Buddha statues to Dinosaur skeletons to Presidential facts nailed to the wall. Lastly, and most importantly, the quality and authenticity of many of the pieces is lackluster, to put it kindly; there were exhibits which were visibly broken and tattered, while all of the dinosaur bones were no more than poor castings. Overall, it is clear that the exhibits are designed to teach and intrigue young kids (which is fine if that's what you're looking for), but it is a waste of time and money for those seeking out quality museums.
