A bit tricky to find, but well worth finding! A little bit of everything - jewelry, jewelry supplies, holiday decorations, clothing, art papers, prints, ephemera, and more! Lots more! Also offer classes. One of my new favorite Wichita stores!!

I'm from Connecticut and want to take a trip to Kansas just to take a live class with Joni & Co @ Mrs. O'Leary's (brick and mortar) store in Wichita!! Anyway, the staff is so friendly, helpful. Joni is a pro at every kind of craft...it's quite amazing her scope of knowledge and expertise. Check out Mrs. O'Leary Art page on FB

I have enjoyed going to Mrs. O'Leary's since 2016, when I moved to Wichita. Recently I was able to take a class and I learned so much in one day. They are very kind, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Such a joy to go there!!

For my 100th review for the Yelp 100 challenge, I'm so happy to share with you about Mrs. O'Learys! This store has been around for 20+ years, and has grown and evolved throughout them. It still sticks to its core values though: quality products, quality service, personalized touch in both! The owner is quite amazing, awesome and talented. What can you find here?Mixed Media art (there was an amazing handmade book that will knock your socks off! It's in the cabinet to the right along the wall)Things to make your own mixed media artClasses to learn how to make your mixed media artRubber stampsPaperMagazines for paper and rubber stamp arts, mixed media artsHandmade gifts (beautiful scarves)'Found' treasuresOn a recent visit (I've been coming here for almost 20 years myself), the owner herself was there (she is often off teaching an art class across the country), and took great care of me, as always. Many of the items on display were from her aunt's house as they clean it out due to the aunt's illness. I got some antique brass, silver and pewter bells that were just adorable, 1st edition 1911 fiction book for Boy Scouts, jewelry, and so many great treasures. If you didn't know the store was there, you might miss it. It's in Old Town. Park near Heroes, (eat at Heroes, if you want) and it's behind it to the west.

Disappointed that they are so expensive. Many of us cannot afford the classes and products. I hope another art and bead shop opens in the downtown area for us.

If you need a crafty/creative fix, Mrs. O'Leary's is the place to go in Wichita! Whether you're into scrapbooking, wireworking, enameling, antiques, upcycling, chalk-painting... Mrs. O'Leary's probably has something to pique your interests. Proprietor Joni Russell travels throughout the country, teaching workshops in jewelry-making and buying unique and wonderful things to sell in the store. All the staff and the resident cat are welcoming and patient with questions and generous with advice. They have terrific classes in card-making, soldering, beading, collage, ... It's just a really fun place. If you get hungry, go downstairs to the Public for a sandwich or salad or beer. Or all three. Mrs. O'Leary's is located on Mead Street in Old Town, a vibrant area for the arts and for partying! In the summer, there's a weekly Farmer's Market next door. Lots of cool old brick architecture, public sculptures, and walking distance to some of the best places to visit in Wichita!

I have been many times to this shop. I come when I am in town. This is my last time. Nothing changes - it's all the same. I come looking for something new and what I want is just not there anymore.
