We headed downtown for Sunday brunch at Mosley before watching the holiday melodrama and carols. The brunch is your typical breakfast items of eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuit and fruit. A full bar with several specialty cocktails are available for an additional fee. The show asks for audience participation and is full of puns and humor. Great activity for families and coworkers.

Mosley Street is the greatest hidden secret in Wichita I believe. My wife and I visit several times a year and they always deliver a quality show. The actors, musicians, wait staff and bartender all take pride in giving you a memorable experience. If you need to escape for a few hours and laugh then call (316) 263-0222.

Making lemonade from lemons. Mosley definitely stepped it up for New Year's Eve dinner theater at home. Excellent meal, nice accompaniments and the melodrama was very good.

I used to have a personal goal to visit, see and experience all 50 states and all 6 US territories (which I recently achieved). Mosley Street Melodrama was part of my trip to Kansas in pursuit of this goal, and it was definitely one of the highlights of my visit to the state of Kansas. As another yelper has pointed out, the first part of the show is an interactive skit (where audience participation is invoked), and the second part consists of the cast singing, dancing and telling jokes, which also includes interaction with the audience. It happened to be close to Halloween, so the second half of the show had a spooky theme, and all the songs, jokes etc. related to the paranormal. The show concluded with a pleasant chit chat with the cast and the writer.

Mosley Street Melodrama is perfect for a fun night out with a bunch of friends and/or family when you're in Wichita and don't know what else to do. The humor is good, with a bit of raciness, but not too raunchy or crude. Just fun jokes that will get the whole crew laughing. They have themed shows throughout the year, and it just so happens that the two times I've visited have been during Christmas. They mix it up, though, so it's always a different show. You can buy just the show or you can include dinner as well. Dinner was local BBQ, not the best, but okay. (I think if you're wanting a night out on the town, I'd suggest going to one of the local nearby restaurants in Old Town and hitting up Mosley after, just in time for the show. If you DO want to opt in for the dinner, they offer a vegetarian plate as well... "vegetarian riblets." An interesting option, but good tasting, and I greatly appreciate them catering to veggie folks too.) If you don't do food, you still get popcorn included at your table, and drinks are relatively cheap. They were offering some sort of themed cocktail for $5 that night, and pitchers were super cheap too!The venue is relatively small, and in need of some updating, but a great size to feel like part of the cast. There were only 5 cast members for this show, plus the pianist, but they played a multitude of characters. One cast member in particular was super talented in every role he played...I was laughing every time he was on the stage. Watch out if you don't like attention though, because they like to come out into the audience.I definitely recommend MSM whether you're a local Wichitan or just visiting. You might not get the small town references, but you'll still leave laughing.

The Mosley Street Melodrama is a great activity for a date, family night, or large group. Boo and hiss the villain! Cheer for the hero! But most importantly, just laugh and have fun! The first half of the show is the melodrama, which includes audience interaction that can be very funny. The second half of the show is the cast singing, dancing, and telling jokes. You have the option of purchasing the "show only" ticket, but don't cheat yourself out of the BBQ dinner (served before the show) it is delicious! There is a full bar and dessert available, which is not included in the ticket price.I hosted my sister's bachelorette party here, and I was really pleased with the outcome! They did a great job accommodating the party and including my sister in one of the skits. This was during the Christmas show of 2009, and it was the best show I have ever seen there! The entire group had a blast and we still talk and laugh about it! Some shows are better than others--part of it depends on the vibe from the crowd that particular night--but I always enjoy myself. If you plan to go between Thanksgiving and Christmas, book your tickets early because they sell out quickly.

In the heart of Old Town, Wichita KS. Literally! See a show and finish up with a late night out. (Or if you are like most other Wichitans, let this be the climax of your evening!) Top notch performances from experienced performers make a spectacular event. Audience participation will happen, regardless. My only knock is that they really should have another server, they just seamed a little bit busy. For what looked like a capacity crowd they only had 3 servers. But they got the job done just fine too. This venue is what I would say as medium. There are much smaller places in town, and much much larger places. They have live sound(piano player), a very good setup for recorded sound, and excellent spot lighting.A must see for anyone visiting Wichita.Adult drinks served, I would say iffy for family events, but not completely off-limits.

So funny. This is the second time that we have been here and each time is a blast. We got seats on the lower level... Way more fun. Great for friends and family.

We love this place, period. I can't say more nice things than that. It is always a good night out. We are season ticket holders and I can't wait to go back to the next show. We have been for several years, and I can't believe I haven't posted a review until now. The wait staff is amazing. They are always so attentive. We have the meal option before the show, which is hard to beat, especially in the old town district of Wichita on a Friday or Saturday night. Let alone the Sunday brunch. The shows tend to vary, some are great, some are OK, but we always have fun. We've gotten to know some of the cast, albeit they have never met us. We have our favorites, Kyle, Scott, Julia, Sarah. Dacia is amazing! It's never a bad day. If you're looking for some entertainment and a night out on the town, this is the place to go. Parking across the street is convenient, and I'm not kidding, the wait staff is great. They take care of you through the whole show. Very reasonably priced for what you receive. I can't recommend enough.

Went here for a family birthday and had a lot of fun. The food is excellent bbq with a wonderful bar menu and very friendly wait staff. The show was very over the top slap stick and was truly wonderful. Not a local of Wichita but would definitely make the drive from OKC again to see another show.
