I would highly recommend Mo's Place if you're looking for a juicy cheeseburger and a refreshing cold beer. These guys have a laid back atmosphere, delicious comfort food (the BEST fried mushrooms), and locally brewed beer. Ask Austin to tell you their story and he's sure to make it entertaining! Leave the kids at home and make a reservation to get the most out of your Mo's experience!

This is my first ever review on Yelp even though I've used the app for recommendations to several places....but damn....this place is nothing short of amazing! The burgers and the hand cut fries were probably the best I've had and to top it off their home brew which is Beaver Brewery was fantastic! Just a great atmosphere in a small town...loved the decks of playing cards at each table for a fun touch as well. You're foolish if you're within an hour of Mo's and you don't stop to eat!

The best cheeseburger ever!!! Very comfortable and casual dining! My husband loves the brew too. Make sure you make a reservation if you want a seat Friday night, though.

Wow, Dorothy, in Kansas! If you get a chance to visit, don't miss Mo's. The beer is superb - sophisticated and ever-so-local, with seven choices, each deliciously different. My taste is the darker beers but among nine of us we had a flight and several varieties. Best of all, the food is great - the hand cut fries were PERFECT. This may be rural western Kansas, but Mo's measures up to the best.

Great hidden gem in the middle of central Kansas. Great beer selections and amazing french fries.

The chili was fantastic; it came with a grilled cheese sandwich, all for about $8. My husband got the fish sandwich, it, too, was surprisingly good We did wait about 3/4 of a pints worth for them which didn't seem right since the place was not busy. The beer was fine considering it is catering to the Coors-country crowd. Was told 'no' when asked for a sample of the pale ale before ordering; I ordered anyway. It tasted like a wheat. I asked for a sample of the wheat to compare to the pale, and was again told 'no.' I like to shop around before committing to a pint. Since I do like to shop around, I am keen on flights, but 'no' to flights as well. They are too time consuming and not as profitable. Eventually, he warmed up and gave us a sample of the stout and porter. I think because he knew we were going to order another round; well, yeah, I had just started in on dinner and needed something to wash it down.

Wow! This place is really a gem. It is sort of in the middle of the proverbial nowhere, but not hard to find. My friend and I arrived just before 5:00 pm on Saturday night. There was hardly anyone there, but it filled up quickly. They had six of their own brews on tap, with 4 oz pours at only 75 cents so we created our own flights. A pint is only $3! Loved the stout and dark beer. My friend ordered the bleu cheese burger while I had the mushroom Swiss burger with added bacon and grilled onions. These may have been the best burgers we have ever had! That is high praise from me since I can only be coerced into having a burger once or twice a year. I also had a side of very flavorful cole slaw. The other food we saw coming out of the kitchen smelled heavenly and looked divine. This was my first visit, and it is far from the last. In fact I am already planning to take some beer snob friends soon. You will not be sorry you made an effort to try Mo's place!!!!

5 stars is based on the class of bar you could expect to find in the middle of nowhere Kansas. The small-batch nano brew beer is outstanding. They grow the barley and hops across the street. The menu is large and our party of 6 all had something different and were all very pleased. The cheese burger was incredible. If you are in the Great Bend area this is definitely worth the drive. Highly recommend.
