Hands down the best BBQ I've had in the KC area so far. I've been to Q39, Jack Stack, Haywards, Joes, and Arthur Bryant's. Moose's "SMOKES" them all! Fast friendly service. Great prices. Huge portions. Try their baked potato. Bring a friend to help you finish it. They could use some umbrellas for the benches

We ran across this food truck when we were out running around Gardner and decided to stop and try out some bbq. They have a few places to sit outside but there's no shade. However, Exbeeriment is a mile down the street and they allow outside food so we decided to take our food to go and grab a beer to pair with it too! Win win. The truck says "Eat like a moose" and they mean it. Portion sizes are huge. We made two meals out of everything we ordered. The prices are pretty cheap and very reasonable for what you get. I ordered a combo sandwich with pulled beef brisket and smoked polish sausage. It was huge! The sausage was nice and smoky. The brisket was good and wasn't dry. My boyfriend also got a combo sandwich with brisket and burnt ends. I tried a burnt end and it was quite tender and juicy. Was the meat the best I've ever had? No, but for the price point and the quantity it's definitely good and I'd go back. I'd probably try something other than brisket. For sides we got a small Mac and cheese, a small bbq bean, and a large fry. They said a small serves one, a large serves two. I would argue that the large serves at least 3 and a small could serve two. Again huge portions. The fries were like McDonald's and were delicious. The Mac was ok. It was creamy and had a little spice to it. I'm not a huge fan of bbq beans but my boyfriend enjoyed them. If you're ever in the area, stop by and grab some bbq!

This fairly new food truck satisfied on multiple levels. I enjoyed my four rib dinner, which included my choice of two sides and a sauce (reasonably priced at $9.99). The meaty ribs fell off the bones, with plenty of smoky goodness, but could have been leaner. The baked beans were very flavorful, with some good heat, while the cole slaw was extra creamy (maybe a little too creamy). Both sides were generously sized. Two sauces were available - original and sweet & spicy. The original was very nice, and complemented the ribs nicely. I liked the fast, cheerful, and friendly service at the counter. No seating was available. Overall, very nice, and a relatively good value!

I was taking lunch to a coworker that is recovering from illness and he requested BBQ. This was the closest BBQ so I gave it a go. I ordered a two-meat and a three-meat platter. The brisket was good as was the pulled pork. The burnt ends were a bit tough but still hd good flavor. The jalapeño sausage was excellent though and the sides were great as well. Sauce is a tough one to gauge, but for my taste it was a bit too sweet. No negative points for that, just letting those that might try Moose's that the sauce is sweet. Overall, good bbq and great service. If I'm in the Gardener area again I'll try some of the other items on their menu.

The bbq at this place is wowza! You will love the variety plus the flavor. We like their cheesy potatoes as an accompaniment. Great food truck and catering.

Love the ribs! Not there every day, but it's worth the wait. Carry-out and picnic tables.

Excellent local BBQ. All meats were very tender and the burnt ends were so good. I think BBQ should hold its own, with or without the sauce and this does just that. Couldn't be better.

Love Moose's! All of it...loaded potatoes, pulled pork nachos, cheesy potatoes, all the meats! We regularly pick up 2+ lbs of pulled pork and freeze. Then we can eat Moose's when nothing else sounds good and they're closed!
