We stayed here for our honeymoon in 2013. Why it took me so long to write this review I'm not sure. But here it is:1. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived. In fact, the owner made us wait while he booked a reservation on the phone for six months down the road. 2. While showing is the cluttered kitchen area, he dropped a stack of coffee cups on the floor, picked them up, and invoked the "5 second rule". We decided then not to drink coffee. 3. He could not find the keys for the room we'd reserved...or the other room he wanted to give us since we were on our honeymoon. We ended up in a third room. 4. There was ONE towel in the bathroom. Enough said. 5. In the morning, he offered us a bowl of fruit that sat out on the counter, uncovered, all night. 6. The final straw - we were ready to check out when the owner said he needed to use the restroom. The bathroom was less than 5 feet away, so he went in, DID NOT CLOSE THE DOOR, and proceeded to take a leak. At that point, I left and let my husband finish paying the bill. 7. The final, final straw - when we got to our honeymoon destination, my husband pulled out the small lotion bottle he'd gotten at the inn. It was empty!!! Who puts a used, empty lotion bottle out for guests???Bottom line: Unless the inn has changed ownership since March 2013, don't do it!!!
