Whatever you do don't use Modern Custom Carpentry, they don't know what they're doing. Hired them to open some walls, install hardwood floors in the kitchen, and tile in the laundry room. They took a month longer than they should have. 1) The first guy tiling screwed up so bad they had to tear it out and bring someone else in to redo it. 2) The hardwood floors seemed good at first, but now I notice that they installed the subfloor wrong and there is a noticeable slant when walking across it. And today from the other room, we heard cracking noises coming from the kitchen. Most likely due to the uneven subfloor and improper wood acclimation. 3) They did such a poor job making a wood beam wrap I told him to stop and found someone else to do it. 4) After they installed the floor trim my refrigerator didn't fit in its slot. They had to come back to fix it.
