MK Consignment Store

These people are scammers! Stay very far away! They will take your furniture, sell it, and never tell you. When you ask about it, they will pretend they have no idea where it is or if it sold. Then after months of fighting with them, they will give you a lowball settlement offer. They claim they have no records of their sales. SCAMMERS!!!!

Great store full of amazing furniture. Every style and budget. Some unique pieces! Awesome staff, very friendly and helpful. Great quality furniture! All kinds art too. If your looking for any sort of furniture piece small or giant go by! They take consignments for sellers also in case you have something your looking to sell but don't want to deal with the general public. I really love this place. In Brittney Center on Woodlawn & 21st, the East location. In the shopping strip by the go kart place that used to be hobby lobby. Tons of parking. Nice big store.

STAY FAR FAR AWAY! They won't pay you! Sold my late husband's furniture and haven't paid me for 3 months. They give me the run around. Tell me the owner isn't there and no one else can pay. Say he only pays on the 1st but is never there on the 1st. I am starting to believe this Mark guy doesn't even exist. Filed complaint with BBB. Will continue to. Don't do business with them. They will tip you off. Read reviews. I'm not the only one. Pay your debts. Terrible business.

They are suppose to send you an e-mail letting you know that your merchandise has sold and when to pick up YOUR check BUT we never received one from them Thank Gosh I called the store to go get it and NO I Don't recommend taking your stuff there RIP OFF!!!!!

Buyer beware! I purchased an item at the pressure of their sales person, Gary, who knew we couldn't take the piece of furniture home immediately and he offered to keep it there until we could pick it up. They were certainly willing to take my money but no so willing to refund the money when come to find out they RESOLD the piece knowing it had already been sold once. Dishonest, untrustworthy, and the owner was flat out rude when I requested a refund of the amount paid.

*BEWARE* if you are considering taking your furniture to MK Consignment! My furniture was not on the floor a week after I dropped it off, so I asked if it had been sold. "Nope, we must've moved it to our south store," they told me. So I checked, and it was not at that store either.So I went back and they looked into it - "Oh congrats, it appears everything sold fairly quickly after all." (As if they hadn't just told me nothing had sold, and couldn't really explain what happened).When I went to pick up my check, some of the furniture had mysteriously showed up on the floor unsold. (Huh?! You just told me it all sold, right after you had told me none of it sold?) And the items which they had actually sold in the first day or two went for 50% of the price they told me would be my MINIMUM for the first month. BLATANT RIP OFF! A SLEAZY business run with intent to DEFRAUD sellers, in my humble opinion. If you decide to deal with them, be prepared for some problems. And plan to take many showers, it's hard to get all that sleaze off!!Read other reviews for what appears to be chronic problems selling through MK Consignment.

Was in Wichita and stopped in this shop! A lot of cool original one of a kind pieces at reasonable price! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. 10/10 would recommend

Owner not returning phone calls and the rest of the staffno help at all resolving account issues

This is my favorite consignment store to shop. The staff is extremely personable, knowledgeable, and helpful. The store has many different items -- furniture, pictures, mirrors, and decorative items, to name a few.

Having to put my Mother in a care home we had several pieces of large furniture that we didn't want to sell on line. We reached out to MK Consignment and they came and picked up a large desk and credenza, large table and hutch and a grandfather clock. We were charged $100 for them to pick up the items, which I thought was fair. The 2nd or 3rd day we were called and asked if we would accept $1500 for the grandfather clock and we said no, $2000 was what Mark priced the clock at. The troll that works their was rude, said things are only worth what someone will pay, DUH! If the clock had been there more than 2 days we may have considered. A day or 2 later we were called and someone was offering $2000 and we accepted. Today when we went in to pick up payment the Troll said $1500. Of course Mark is not there which seems to be a common complaint on reviews. We have started the complaint process with the BBB and also looking to see if we have any legal recourse. Stay very far away from this place!
