Milby Law Office

I would highly recommend Milby Law. Dana and Daydree, in addition to their staff, were great with helping my best friend get out of debt. Their costs to gitRdone were affordable, they responded to calls/emails/etc in a timely manner, and they treat you like you're one of the family. In any legal case you have to be patient, many people aren't, and at Milby Law the team works together to get a resolution sooner than later. Very pleased and glad we chose ML.

Best lawyer I've ever worked with. Declaring bankruptcy was the first hardest thing I've had to do in my life because I was so young. Dana and the whole office were kind, understanding, incredibly helpful and continue to be so. They helped so much to make things easier. They give sound advice, listen to your needs and offer fair prices for amazing legal services. I never had to worry much while I was preparing to declare because I could direct any collector to the office and they'd take care of it. They always reply to any and all questions and if you leave a message, they'll call you back as fast as they can. My favorite personal touches they do for you are a printed sheet of clear labels with my name and case number they made me that I received right after court to include on all my checks and correspondence to my trustee, as I declared Chapter 13 and pay monthly. Another was the fool-proof help of anything from the office that was sent for me to sign, they have "Sign Here" Arrow stickers so you can't mess it up. Also when parking, use the easily accessible parking garage-- they have the stamps for your pass.

Milby law might be one of the worst law firms in Kansas. The firm is run by a "lawyer" named Dana Milby. In my personal experience, Dana is the least knowledgeable attorney in the state. She mishandles cases, makes countless mistakes, and on top of all that, from what I hear, is a cold and negligent boss. Working with some of her employees made it clear to me that they are the heart and soul of that firm. The women there who dealt with me and with my case were amazing. I would describe them as helpful, kind, and hardworking. I really felt like they cared about me and my case. This is why I was so shocked by the attorney. When you search "Milby Law" you might notice that one of the top three results is a page called milbylawsucks.com. This is not only embarrassing, but it is frightening that this law firm still exists with someone like Dana Milby at the helm. I would highly recommend either going to a different law firm or trying your best to not interact with Dana Milby. I am ashamed that I paid this person a dime.

Worst attorney in the region. Their unethical debt collection scam art is absurd. They get defaults, then sit on them for a decade or more to get interest building up and no way to defend - then start garnishing even after being shown their client's bill is questionable or already paid by insurance 12 years prior. She does not care. This is an abusive POS attorney who should have her law license pulled.
