Since I reviewed Midwest Sewing, I've added a Baby lock Imagine serger (threads the loopers automatically) and a gently used Bernina 830 with built in dual feed and a 12" throat for quilt piecing and machine quilting. I'm on quilt # 68 and going strong. These machines are perfect for me and, with such a huge selection, Midwest is magical at helping customers find the perfect machines. Sewing shouldn't be a one-size-fits-all proposition, and machine choice shouldn't be recommended only based on price. I've mastered couching this year, expanded my appliqué skills and custom designed several items. When I have questions, Midwest has answers!

Mid-west Sewing has let me bring in my machine when I am having a problem so they can check it out immediately to try to solve my problem and only if they cannot remedy my problem do I have to leave it.

I am bringing my sewing machine in from Denver to Mid West I lived in Wichita many years and loved this store. Sewing classes, good repair folks. I did call and make an appointment so understand that folks could get frustrated when the shop is really busy. But I am counting on the quality hey have always offered. One small addition in Denver to get your machine cleaned and oiled it starts at $163 and goes up if any thing extra is needed. Mid West runs under $75..
