A friend recommended MidAmerica so we had dad referred there for his hip pain. He says his experience with the doctor was really thorough and he was also referred for physical therapy. He said that he enjoyed his physical therapy here much more than when he went to another place in town a few years ago. We are all glad that he no longer has hip pain!

Clinic is very over priced. Therapy provided was so-so. Prices are much higher than insurance coverage. After getting charged too much, I went to some really good therapists in Andover, Kansas. Guess what? Insurance covered everything! Looks like a bunch of doctors gouging patients!

I went in referred by my physician for surgery. My "consult" if you call it that was half-assed to me as a person and feel like I was treated like a farm animal being "RUSHED" through the consultation. It all started with them calling me back, said the doctor would be in shortly. I waited, the PA not the actual Doctor that would do the surgery came in with a plastic/rubber of the shoulder and used it to tell me what was wrong with my shoulder and what would need to be done. He mentioned my elbow at first, but said nothing further about it, just jumped to my shoulder rotator cuff. Something was left out about even talking why bring up my elbow. It gets worse, the surgeon doctor came in with wet slathered hand to shake mine with sanitizer (thankful for that to a point). He spends 3 min with me, never tells me anything more other than he'd be doing the surgery and the PA would be in with him and then the "scheduler (MA)" would be back in to schedule me. I explained that I live alone and have no one to take care of me all day and so the MA said she'd email Home Health "today which ended up 3 days later" delaying me further) to get them to access me and my home about care. My apartments have a security door without buzzer, a person has to call me and I have to go 20' to a 6 step stairwell to let someone in my apartment. Then go back up the steps and 20' to my own apartment. The MA couldn't even answer my questions if a surgery could be scheduled on a Thursday (which is the day my only friend has a weekday off to help me to surgery and back home, they don't care as they are only there to do the surgery and you're responsible for everything else for your own aftercare. I have no family and 3 friends, however they work. I'd be left alone most of the time and they want me to start Physical Therapy 3 days after surgery luckily my physician's office can arrange Taxi rides for me for those for the first 3 months until I can drive. They told me if I have to drive, just don't take your pain med per the MA. She didn't give a care about me at all, I was not an important part of her day at all. Even with the follow up email I sent her. All I got today from her was that she finally sent the HH an email and if I don't hear from them in the "next couple days" (it's going into a weekend so it'll be sometime next week postponing me again further). I spoke with the clinic Manager "Megan" and she took a bit and said that she spoke with the Doctor and he apologized. I explained that I even wanted to see the xrays and MRI that was done to see my own body and them to point out the damaged torn areas. They apparently don't do that. She then asked if there was some other physician that I wanted my stuff sent to, basically with other physicians in their office, she wouldn't refer to one of them. I'm basically thrown to the wolves again trying to find someone. I called my physician's office referral lady and she's going to see what she can do. I was told by Megan to let them know who I choose and they'd gladly send my information to them. So that's apparently that with this clinic, if you complain about anything they don't wish to help or take your health seriously. It's just "GO AWAY"

I have had three surgeries through Mid America Orthopedics and my daughter has had both her knees repaired with Dr. Babb. Never an issue. Recently however I decided to see Dr. Morgan for an on going ankle injury. After the procedure I was put in a walking boot. Keep in mind I have BCBS insurance and have never been denied my benefit that would cover the brace or boot for past surgeries. However, I have been going on 70 days back and forth with Mid America Billing over denial by my insurance for the recent boot as recommended by Dr. Morgan. I received a bill for $545 for the boot. BCBS advised I was covered up to $500 for the boot however Mid America did NOT send a preauthorization to BCBS just had me sign a financial waiver "in case insurance Denies" the boot. Keep in mind you can get the same exact boot or brace on line for about $59.00!!!!!

Wichita Kansas I am from there. dr. Bhargava pa told me that the only way my insurance pa for CT scan is do physical therapy and I ask Mindy can't I have a CT scan now no only way to get it is to do physical therapy either that I paid for it. Well I did physical therapy and I suffered in pain doing it and went to my orthopedic doctor appointment and he told me he wouldn't do to need what is going on and even fix my left knee since I have still have pain after a partial knee replacement surgery only reason I have pain in my right knee cause I have fallen twice on it. Then he tells me I wish I had a magic wand. Later on I left a message telling him I wish I had a magic wand so you understand how it feels bro have osteoarthritis in both knees. How it feels when driving it hurts to do so and getting in and out of a car like hurting getting bout of his sporty car. and how it feels when you are standing too long and walking too and walking up and down stairs. Osteoarthritis is a degenerate disease and only get worse and all I was doing was have understand what I am going through that is all and I was not being negative against no one there. Dr. Bhargava was being negative against me when he said I wish I had a magic wand.

I went to the Wichita location and the staff was very friendly! Doctor Pat Do was so nice and informative! From beginning to end it was a great experience despite my son's broken clavicle which is healing very nicely. I highly recommend this place!
