The customer service and quality of the work provided has been outstanding. I have used this company for a couple of different projects...from windows to doors to siding. Evening they have done has been great!

They knocked on my door (at 7pm) to tell me that I obviously neglect my home, my home is ugly, etc. Rude and confrontational . Unprofessional. Incorrect (we take excellent care of our home), and the guy just started screaming 'I have a right to be in your neighborhood!' at the top of his lungs. I almost called the police. Truly awful company.

I had Mid-America install new windows and siding several years ago. I've not had many complaints but, I found a piece of siding, don't know if it's off my house or not I am vision impaired and have some physical disabilities which prevent me from walking around the exterior of the house. Anyway called ask for the service department and Maria the receptionist said she had to take the information; news to me. Oh well, gave her the information she said the service department would call me I called on Monday the 28th. If I haven't heard from them by next Monday which will be January 4, I'll call them again. I try to be very patient but I'm 87 and some days I just can't handle it.

I had one window replaced by MAE. Scheduling the estimate was easy and Kyle came out to do the measurements and prepare the estimate. I was impressed by his politeness, product knowledge, and he even had good knowledge of the tax credits that might be available. He had samples of the glass, which was important to me since we were doing a privacy glass and had some options. The craftsmanship of the install was very good- excellent trim work that integrated well with what was already there. I particularly like that they have their own install crews. I am very satisfied with the window and the service provided. The rain glass is an excellent options for bathrooms.

I had siding installed when finished it looked like a brand new house. I wouldrecommend Mid America Exterior to anyone. They provide great servicesfrom Customer to Installers. They sent out Kyle Schmidt Sales Rep. he was very kind and knowledgeable about the types of siding and which one would be best for the and project. All work was schedule by Christina and arrived on a timely manner and clean up was superb.Ina T

Terrible terrible. Was quoted one price then it went up over double that when all was said and done. For no explanation. Will never recommend or use again. The contractors were great but the company was most definitely not. A retired man on a fixed income taken advantage of. just gross business

Working with Kyle makes this process a sheer delight. He takes into consideration the whole house design when implementing our custom changes and upgrades. The new windows and siding are a great addition to our home and it's much warmer in the house since the new windows/ wall was installed. Great job by the whole team.

May of last year (2022) I contact MAE about a siding job they did in my home. Still within the warranty the exterior started to crack and became loose in many areas. Talked and text and send pictures and the last time I heard from them was in October 2022. When they did the work, they did good, but it didn't last as long as they said that it will base on all the areas that are failing now. Nearly a 30k job using the best siding that they offer, and they can't back up their work. Sad I was considering them for some more remodeling but now I can't say that I will use them again.I will update this review once they do fix all the issues.

This review definitely deserves a five star review. Midwest installed 4 windows in our garage and couldn't be happier. The crew that came out went above and beyond to make sure we were completely satisfied with the installation, they took the time to make sure that the exterior trimming match the rest of our windows on our house. I particularly liked how they made sure that the area was cleaned when they were finished as were finding out during this remodel that not all companies pay attention to the details anymore, I guess that's just the way the world is going. Anyway, they have a customer for life, thanks!

The staff was very pleasant to work with however I do not think i will use them again. My review: One year ago at my rental property I had the bathroom remodeled involving removing the tub and replaced with a walk-in shower, partial wall covering that matched the shower and flooring. Project cost 10K. Two issues: After several days the tenant advised me only a trickle of water was coming out of shower head. Mid America said it was probably due to sediment coming thru the new shower head. They came and undid the shower head, ran some water and put shower head back on. My question, if this is common why was it not addressed during install. This month, a year later after install I had a house inspection done at the rental property. The inspector noted that the wall board they had installed behind the shower insert wall where the plumbing lines are, they did not use water resistant material. Inspector said I should check the wall board material behind shower insert and wall for any plumbing leaks monthly because if there was a piping line leak the material they used would definitely create a Mold situation. If that should occur, who knows, would the total interior shower wall insert have to be removed and a new shower wall replaced?Also a year ago I had a custom glass storm door made at the cost of $3K for the rental property. My review:One week after install the hydraulic bar that controls the speed when door closes so as not not slam broke. It took two weeks to replace it. The replacement also broke a month later. They replaced with a heavy duty hydraulic bar and attached the spring mechanism to the top of the door which prevents the door from opening to far and bending the hydraulic bar. The spring broke in two days. They replaced with a heavy duty spring. A few weeks later when the tenant went to lock the glass storm door it would not lock. They had installed the lock plate on the door jam but they had not drilled a hole for the lock to pass thru the door jam. A year has gone by and I have had to personally install two more hydraulic bar replacements on the glass door. Note, when I called and left a message with the sales rep at an earlier time that yet again the hydraulic bar was not working and needs replaced again and that this would be the third replacement. I got a return message that I would have to speak to the owner about the issue. I did not bother and will just replace myself. I am on my forth hydraulic bar and still not working correctly. The issue could be that I think the bottom edge of the metal frame has warped. It is no longer flush with the door jam.As I said, the staff was nice to work work with but the issues noted are an item for concern
