Mi Tierra Restaurant & Cantina

Very welcoming atmosphere with great food and great music! the owners love to chat with you and make a conversation along with all the servers. The margaritas are perfect along with the street tacos being a wonderful choice.

Mi Tierra is the newest Mexican restaurant in town. It took over the space that used to be Bimibap on 11th Street. The first time I tried the food, Eric R. picked up lunch for me and brought it home. I was thrilled because they sell lengua, and so I got lengua tacos. They were delicious and did not get soggy in transit. We returned last week after axe throwing nearby with another couple. I orderd lengua tacos again, and a house made horchata. Eric R. and I shared the horchata. It was creamy and nicely not so sweet. The chips and salsa were tasty too, and our friends ordered queso also. I did ask for tomatillo sauce with the tacos and that was not brought out, but the tacos were tasty without that so it was fine. Service was great. I probably should try something else on the menu, but I really love lengua and it is hard to find (except to purchase uncooked at the farmer's market)! Eric R. enjoyed his fajitas and ate every last bite on his many platters.

We were visiting family in Manhattan, KS and found this restaurant. This place we found in Manhattan was very inviting and had good vibes. We were greeted with a smile and great service. We were seated and were given warm tortilla chips and red salsa. The chips nice and crispy and the salsa was on point and not too hot. We ordered our food and everything was delicious! The food was nice and hot served right away rather than some places where the food sits. The cheese sauce on my Chicken Chimichanga was so creamy 5/5. My Chile Relleno was 5/5! I will say the beef enchilada was a bit different than the regular beef enchilada in California but still good 4/5. Rice was fluffy and seasoned well. Our daughter had a grilled cheese and fries. It was your normal taste. The soda and water we ordered did come in huge glasses that was nice. If you're ever in Manhattan, Kansas come and eat here and you'll enjoy it. They play great music! Great Mexican restaurant! The service was outstanding. The food was flavorful and delicious - chips & salsa, queso, street tacos, al pastor, carne asada, burrito, rice & beans - all wonderful and executed perfectly for great Mexican dining experience. Modern Mexican ambience. Will be back!

Greeted immediately upon entering by a friendly guy who, when beginning to seat us, noticed one of the booth benches needed a quick wipe & took care of it. Varied menu-so many choices & well priced. Friend chose fajitas, I had the taco plate. Very good. The queso was probably the favorite this time; chips & salsa also tasty. Everything was fresh & order taker also attentive & friendly.This was our first visit & will definitely be back to try other dishes.

Hands down the best, most authentic Mexican restaurant in Manhattan. (I spent 10 years sampling Mexican in Texas)Authentic food and fantastic staff and Owners! I also love the quaint feel of a true Texas cantina. Great Job Amailia and Bao!

Food was excellent - we had one of the soups and a choripollo. Service however was so-so. Wait staff was not very attentive. With better service I would have given them 5 stars.

Mi Tierra is definitely the best Mexican spot in Manhattan. The food is always amazing, with great flavors. They were super attentive to my gluten allergy and answered all my ingredient questions clearly. I highly recommend Mi Tierra if you're looking for fantastic Mexican food and great service.

Food was delicious. I order the A La Veracruzana and my husband ordered the Burrito Sancho. The rice and beans were delicious and better than most here in Manhattan. My toddlers had the quesadillas and the chicken nugget meal which I definitely tried. Very good. The spiked jarrito was so flavorful that we couldn't taste the alcohol which is--dangerous. Atmosphere reminded me of home. Definitely will be coming back.
