Mi Tierra Restaurant And Cantina

There is such a thing as "too much queso". Mi Tierra is a good example of that. This is your typical Mexican restaurant in the Midwest. The decor, the ambiance, the layout - all standard. The staff are super nice and friendly.Food is good; but everything is covered in queso. It's to the point where you can barely taste anything else. Would try other options if in Hutch before returning here....

First visit here. As you enter, there is a full bar with which appeared to have anything you could want. It your standard Mexican restaurant decor and atmosphere. Very clean and well maintained. Service was great, 5 of us seated immediately. Took our drink order as we were being seated. Chips and salsa on the table inside 2 minutes. Food inside of 5 minutes. Big taco salad, very good, except the flour shell was a little over cooked... otherwise excellent. 2 tostada plate also good, however corn shell base got soggy a little too quickly. 3 flour shell tacos were good, however shells were also a little over done, also not flake at all. All dishes were large portions. Chips were the thicker corn verity, okay but not special. The salsa had a good flavor but was very watery (not chunky at all), nothing special. All in all, a good value... large portions. May come back, however Hutch has several great Mexican restaurants I'd have to rate ahead of this one.

I went there for lunch and had a taco salad. It was very good but I wanted more lettuce.I'll be back when I'm in town.

I arrived into town hungry and tired after traveling from Hawaii. I was hopeful for some delicious Mexican food and found it along with great service.

The tacos are yummy! They fry them so they're crispy. I had a cheese enchilada which was ok.

Nice place to stop for lunch. Price was right and the food was good! Friendly service as well. Looking forward to trying more dishes on my next visit.

Really good food. Staff is friendly and helpful if you need. Atmosphere is comfortable and inviting.

Queso, Salsa, Gauc Absolutely amazing. Pricey for the amount they supply you for To-Go but didn't complain much bc it was so delicious and the whole party enjoyed.Great service too!

Just wanted to shoutout Mi Tierra Mexican RestaurantSo amazing, I got the Burrito Supreme Steak for the first time and it may have changed my life lol. The steak was perfectly seasoned and tender and the guacamole salad is unreal. My wife got the pollo bandido and it was delicious as well Chips/salsa on point and the corona with lime was ice cold. 5 stars!!

Tamales were not that good. Service was fast and friendly but you could see the kitchen through the drive thru window and it was very dirty
