Run for your life! Never again. The owners were super nice pre-move but do not be fooled. Let me summarize my complaints.1. Once our furniture was loaded, it was basically held hostage the next morning until we paid an additional 20-25% as they underestimated our weight. BTW, the owner estimated my weight. If we did not pay up, they would move our stuff to storage and charge us storage fees. So, all of a sudden, we owed them several thousand more dollars!2. Driver (Rick from Omaha) was early for pick up and delivery, verbally abused the men doing the grunt work for being girls, too slow, etc., did not itemize and/or tag our items for inventory, and was contrary the whole time. He complained about the amount of stuff we had and inferred we had too much. More stuff means more money, so what was he complaining about? His job was to move the stuff with a smile and not assess what he was moving with running commentary.3. Driver complained to owners that we had a surprise pool table that he had to move that was not part of the deal. Yes, we had a pool table but it was a child's Fisher-Price pool table and weighed about 50 pounds. C'mon man!3. Boxes clearly labeled by room with neon labels were not delivered to the correct rooms. The guys unloading basically placed items in the room by the label on the top box. If the top box said kitchen, all the boxes below were delivered to kitchen, regardless of their labels.4. The owners were unresponsive to all of our complaints. We were blamed for their underestimation of weight and they blew off the rudeness of driver as lighthearted fun. We complained that we had tp move boxes to correct rooms as their guys delivered boxes to the wrong room and they were not concerned. Great customer service! Not!5. We cannot recommend these folks at all. We were fooled and burned. Find a Plan B somewhere, anywhere.6. Finally, this is our first YELP but it feels so good to get this off our chest and to share about our tragedy with Meier's Moving.
