We had a jeep engine rebuilt last year as husband is restoring - they did a good job but they told us to bring it in when the jeep was done so they could tune it - my husband did just that the other day and when he walked in the door the guy said that he had bought the business and he wasn't honoring any warranties or repairs from the previous owners - looked like some kind of Counting Cars wannabe, extremely rude, - we have passed the word to two of the car clubs in town - buyer beware!

I have never written a review, let alone a negative review before. But i am so angry I am livid. In 2010 I towed my Jeep to Mean for repairs. They said it needed rebuilt engine for about $4,900. I said okay. I loved my jeep. I had it out for less than a week and it broke down, they said it was fixed. I moved to Virginia and towed it with me. Unloaded it, it broke down, same thing. I used a car service to sent it back to him at about $600 both ways (I loved my Jeep that much). Got it back. Drove it for 10 days and the exact same thing happened again. I was exasperated without exaggeration. Having sunk over 5 Grand in this I had little option but to send it back via car service ONE MORE TIME. He assured me it was fixed. Got it back and guess what. The exact same happened again. I had to junk it. Brad Mean was rude, unsympathetic to my circumstance and apparently a really horrible mechanic. I feel he owes me the $4900. which is what I paid him. I should not have to pay for a vehicle he did not fix with 3 opportunities.It is too late to sue or I would. I do not live in Wichita so it would be difficult to take action. I contacted the BBB but it is not in their purview which surprised me.I have no recourse. I would have fought back sooner but I was away and not able to deal with it until now.So this company took nearly 5000 Dollars from me and gave me nothing in return. I cried when the junkers towed away my 2002 Jeep which I had bought new and loved.It is not right, he treated me unfairly. I called him today for the first time in years and brought up the situation and he basically said he is not dealing with this and hung up on me.DO NOT GO TO THIS BUSINESS. THEY ARE UNETHICAL. PERHAPS IF THEY EVEN OFFERED TO GIVE ME SOME OF MY MONEY BACK I WOULD BE MORE SATISFIED BUT I AM SOOOOOOO ANGRY I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO BUT SHARE THIS WITH THE PEOPLE OF WICHITA.

Very Friendly and extremely helpful. Got me in and out in a Jiffy. When the dealership wanted to make me wait 2 weeks. And he even charged the dealership to reimburse him. So overall job well done and very budget friendly.

DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE OUT OF YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!! Husband bought a 4.3 marine short block from here and it was a faulty one. When we got it it was very dirty. And they had given a 90 day warranty on it. During this time they had changed ownership. Very very rude. Even the new owner is rude. Their shop is dirty and gross not a place you want a motor fixed or worked on. Really debating on taking them to small court. If we had more time we most definitely would.
