McCurdy Auction is a first class organization. They are honest and operate with integrity. I have purchased around 20 properties from them over the years at their auctions and they are meticulous about being upfront about everything. Apart from auctiions, they also sell listed real esate. The founder, Lon McCurdy was showing me a property that was on the market listed by another realtor. I wa ready to make an offer on it when in the course of inspecting the home, Mr McCurdy pointed out some flaws that I had not noticed - as a result he did not make the sale and collect any commission, but he looked out for me and what was best for me, not him.Marvin M

I went to a couple of these. They got our attention by advertising that the properties were no minimum, no reserve. This was true, what they fail to mention is that the seller can, and almost always does refuse to sell if he doesn't feel like the bid is enough. So they will have about 30 properties in one auction that are no minimum no reserve, and only sale about 10 of them.
